Gajeel is a character who went through dramatic character "husbando" development. Once a punk, now a bad boy with a big heart, Gajeel's change of heart started when he teamed up with Levy McGarden after he joined Fairy Tail. Slowly, but surely, the Iron Man's husbando traits began to surface the more he opened up to his new family, Fairy Tail, but most importantly, to Levy, his love. By the end of the series (and now in Fairy Tail 100 years quest), the once vulgar boy became a full-fledged husbando in its truest sense. Just look at some of those husbando qualities!​

Overall, Gajeel has an immense number of husband qualities, many of which I haven't even tackled yet. However, there is one quality that surpasses the others which is that he's a man who is ready to build a future with the person he loves. and his best friend!
