I thought of that, but would the author really have his death offscreen? Or ambigous?Since this is a shounen and in shounens it's more likely than not that characters survive, I will actually be shocked if it was revealed that Norman really died that night.
Plus we know he wasn't shipped out as food, that was Ray. I feel as if Norman's fate was left up in the air for something epic later on. I believe he's dead, but I feel as if there's more to this than meets the eye.
