Character Norman Thread

Since this is a shounen and in shounens it's more likely than not that characters survive, I will actually be shocked if it was revealed that Norman really died that night.

I thought of that, but would the author really have his death offscreen? Or ambigous?
Plus we know he wasn't shipped out as food, that was Ray. I feel as if Norman's fate was left up in the air for something epic later on. I believe he's dead, but I feel as if there's more to this than meets the eye.
Currently you could say Norman is Schrodinger's Norman

I would like to believe that Norman could be a bad guy in the near future, but that would highly depend on where the plot would go that benefits him. If assist as a good guy, it is likely that he would be connected to Minerva in some ways. On the other side of the coin, which is being a villain, it is likely that he would side with the demons and become a scientist.
