Life Perfumes Thread - What do you smell like?

Hi.
This thread is meant to be a discussion thread for the brands and types of perfume you'd wear, your experiences with them and more. There are all sorts of names for these good smells, from deodorants and shower gels to aftershaves for men and the more elegant range of perfumes, of which there are too many to mention but plenty to discuss.

I myself am wearing two different parfumes at the moment. The first one is Fahrenheit 32, Dior (oriental orange blossom, with notes of soft and spicy) which I am wearing for about a year now. I've only got positive feedback sofar and I also find that it fits me very well and smells good on me.

The second I've bought half a year ago is Le Bateleur from D&G (€69.99 ), which I already start to dislike somehow. It's also the first unisex parfume I've ever tried.

Yeah, just one of the things. For the rest I just use random Axe stuff.

edit: Wait, perfume... Does Old Spice even have perfume?

Anyway, for parfume I just use random Playboy smells.

I have never in my life bought perfume, but its okay since my brothers cupboard is full to the brim with them. Hahaha, i just use those. Right now i just came in and i was wearing this:

It smells nice enough, though my favourite perfume was this small joop one he had. Its finished though and im still looking for it, if i find it i might actually buy it!

I LOVE JOOP!

Was wearing Jump! and Go! for years. Also had that Nightflight thang, but I found it's bit too harsh for me. I kinda find it's the worst of all the Joop! fragrances... it doesnt go well with the image either, cuz the others are rather sweet.

I love Cool Water by Davidoff. I wear that for official stuff. Otherwise I go with Axe or the other cologne whose name I forgot that a customer gave to me as random gift. It's light blue... reminds me of Aqua Velvet or whatever.

I'm actually not a perfume type person... I tend to dislike the smell of it, and to me it never smells like what its named after. I usually just wear scentless deoderant but I don't mind if other people wear perfume, as long as they don't bathe in it... just lightly is the key.

Personally, I'm a fan of wearing scents that *actually* smell good and smell like something- so I tend to search for a perfume which smells like vanilla or strawberry (but not sickly sweet).
I've been wearing this one lately: it's cheap from the Body Shop, and I apparently smell like cupcakes wearing it. ^^

I also got given a Body Collection coconut body spray from my sister which is sadly no longer sold here, but it smelt delicious~~
Very sad I used it all up. I love anything with Vanilla or coconut in it. T_T

^I don't like it when others smell like food. Coconut and strawberry and all that other sweet stuff remind me too much of that. And I don't want a girl who's literally making my hungry with her smell.

Like the most Boss fragrances, don't know this one yet though. How does it smell hyst?

Cool Water is ok, nothing too special IMHO, but not bad to me.

I find colognes too strong/pushy... don't like them in gerneral.

What would you recommend? I like the smell of Cool Water, even if it can be a bit strong.

Colognes aren't too bad. It really depends on the type and the amount of squirts. Speaking of that, what would be a good amount of squirt? I read like two to three is enough.

I'd recommend you the new summer smell of Marc O´Polo uhm.... dunno, have to look up the name somewhere..

As for squirts, depends on where I'm going. Uni/City/everyday life about 5-6 (EdT), when clubbing about twice as much, though it really doesn't matter how much parfum you got on because it'll mix with all kind of other smells like smoke and turn into a smelling something >.>
..Just not to smell sweaty, that's the main point..

it kinda hard to describe the Hugo Boss night smell..it not that strong plus im getting ill blocked nose. it not as overpowering like the last one Element which had a strong citrus smell..this has a hint of citrus but no that strong...very nice..like ryan reynolds in that black suit

Isn't that overkill? If you can smell it even after few hours, that definitely is overkill.

Anyway, I usually spray on my neck and on arms on the side of elbow thingie. Blood vessel apparently carries the smell better than shirt.

no way, it's not an overpowering fragrance or something. But I need it to last bout 10-12hrs usually. To be fair, after a shower I use less squirts, because the skin is most absorbable then and it becomes overkill, like you've said.

And yes I don't carry it on the clothes either. Find its too overpowering if you do so though. Just on the body, like yeah neck too, underarm, back and hair.
