How do you feel about this? I'd love to see a proper Spawn film, but this almost feels like the original creator himself isn't doing the actual Spawn we know and love, but rather uses his intellectual property to gain financing for him to direct a film himself.
Just write an actual Spawn film. If the script is good, a studio and the money will be found. Deadpool just has changed the big studios view on R-rated superhero flicks.
