It would make sense, but it looks like an "o" in his name (compare to the "a" in Bak's). They'd sound the same in Japanese, though, and Hoshino doesn't seem to be that great with picking accurate Chinese names all the time (shouldn't "Lee" be "Li" in Chinese, for instance?).

good point. there is a chinese surname wong but hoshino might have dropped the "g".

Maybe Sammo Han Won is Korean? That's the first thing I thought when i saw this.
Hoshino has made a point of calling it the Asian branch, after all, not the Chinese branch.

Haha... well, I don't think we have the official romanization of his name. Just assume that whenever someone types Cyril/Sheril/Sheryl, they're talking about the same guy. (Knowing Hoshino, it's going to be something none of us saw coming like Shiryl or whatever.)

I finally looked at the compilation books others linked to, and noticed that "Gigi Lujon" and "Mark Burrough" quoted in the first post of this thread are wrong; they should be Gigi Lujun and Mark Burroughs. Also, the compilation book scans have Bridget Faye, Timothy Hearst, Alma Karma.
