One Piece will always be my favorite manga, but after the last 100 chapters of this, HSDK jumped from around my 5th favorite to 2nd! And considering my 3rd (previous 2nd) manga has been finished for a while, it's probably here to stay ^.^"

And I know that we're supposed to be reviewing the series, but I'd like to point out how amazing it is that 150 chapters have been newly scanlated in around 4 months. That's an average of more than 1 per day XD And we finally can say we might as well be caught up with the series.

But to get the kind of hype where people just WANT to scanlate it that quickly, and at great quality, doesn't that show how amazing the series really is, at least to those scanlators? Permalink " "

After reading the wonderful reviews for this manga I decided to give it a try. And I was for a big surprise!

It has interesting plot, great character development, it's packed with exciting action, a lot of humor and all of that is spiced with ecchi art.

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi has become my favorite manga together with One Piece and Naruto.

Esta serie es increible, no pense qu me quedaria enganchado tanto, pero la verdad es que todas las semanas estoy ateno a su lanzamiento.
Los personajes son de lo mas divertidos, Apachai una verdadera gozada.Nijima un alien en todos los sentidos, Shigure........mmmmm sin palabras, y si me pongo nombrar todos no acabo. Asi que finalizo recomendando mucho este manga. Creo que si se le diera mas oportunidad seria una de las grandes, por lo divertida que es.

it is interesting ... beginning , Kenichi want to be strong but Miu appear ... Kenichi fall love in her in battle ... but He want to protect her ... then later storyline .... He need to learn to be himself protect from enemies and protect her from harm...

The story focuses on Kenichi Shirahama, an average 15-year-old high school student who has been picked on his whole life. However, after a month into his freshman year, he meets and befriends the mysterious transfer student, Miu Fūrinji. Driven by his desire to become stronger and to protect those around him, he follows her to Ryōzanpaku, a dojo for those who are truly strong and have mastered their arts gather. After learning basics from Miu, Kenichi is able to beat a high ranking member of the school's karate club, and becomes a target for all the delinquents in the school. Subsequently, Kenichi's daily routine is divided between hellish training under the six masters of Ryōzanpaku, and his fights against the members of Ragnarok, a gang that views him as either a possible ally or an impending threat to their plans. After defeating Ragnarok, he faces a new enemy called YOMI, a group of disciples who are each personally trained by a master of an even bigger organization rivaling Ryōzanpaku, Yami. Along with former members of Ragnarok who join the Shinpaku Alliance, a group created by Kenichi's schoolmate Haruo Niijima, Kenichi now fights Yami to prove his ideals and protect those in need.
