I'm not sure what could be wrong. Tell me, after installing the codecs are you still trying to run the movie on VLC? If yes then go ahead and try media player classic. You see, vlc comes with its own codecs and I think that no other codecs work with it. I can be wrong though, but anyway go and try the media player classic. You can also check the settings of the cccp codecs and try doing something there.

good newsi downloaded the ffdshow plug in for wmp 11 or 10 dont know lol and changed the video acceleration from full power to medium and now i could see the screen good but it pauses like every 2 seconds and the audio is out of sync playing faster than the video,any suggestions,im so close yet so far,maybe the network buffering?its on five,i changed the video acceleration by going to tools then options then performance.
