How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs

It wasnt like any other shows that has people who always talk like a gatling gun, making meaningless jokes, etc...I heard that Scrubs wont be over for another season, is that true?

TV Season started back

Prison Break season 4

Gossip Girl Season 2 (X.O.X.O woooooooow)

And One tree hill aired last night

I only watched GG and part of OTH -.- got to finish OTH and watch Prison break lol.

Ugly Betty. It's funny and refreshing. (LOL, don't ask.) Project Runway is also good, though season 4 ended around March/April this year, but I still like that one. Hmm, yeah, House is also my all-time favorite. ^^ Then, there's also America's Next Top Model. (Me: Oh!the drama...)

This fall, some of the shows I'm most looking forward see the return of are Heroes, House, The Office, 30 Rock, and Pushing Daisies. For those who haven't watched Pushing Daisies, you should start! It's a really cool show -- kind of cartoony and Tim Burton-esque. Plus, there's an interesting twist to the main pairing in the series: they can't touch.....ever! If they do, the girl dies. This throws a real wrench into their otherwise fairy-tail romance and makes for many bittersweet moments throughout the show.

I looooooove Pushing Daisies I can't wait for the second season

The new 90210 is pretty good so far, I guess because i am in the age demo and i like shows like it that's why i am enjoying it lol but i still think it's good (not perfect, some of the cast....need work lol.)

Prison Break is coming back pretty strong.

Fringe started tonight can't wait to see it tomorrow and also Terminator The SCC started back YAY

Wow, thanks for the info! Sadly, I'm not from the states so I can't watch it unless it's already aired in the cable (SE Asia version). How annoying is that?

Why no ads for Chuck? I hate it when networks ignore the geek channel in their promotions as it usually leads to bad ratings and cancellations. Threshold and Journeyman are two shows I loved that were canceled due to lack of exposure, really sad stuff. It got so bad that the last episode of Journeyman was aired two weeks late on a different date than usually. wtf how was I supposed to know? So I watched it online and since the show had such bad ratings for the last episode it went bye bye... So people make sure to support your television shows by watching them on the air!

They had a big ad campaign during the olympics and gave Chuck a full season order just recently so i think its safe for this season.

And just for the record it doesn't matter if you support the show by watching it on t.v. it only matters if you have a nelsen box. (get into that later.)

Edit: okay i have a minute to write lol.

The way Television shows are rated is a very broken system, the Nelsen rating system is what they use, you can not sign up to be a Nelsen viewer they pick you by random and not EVERYONE is able to get it.

That along with the growing of IPTV (Internet TV) and they do not count those numbers.

There is also DVR ratings, If you have a Tivo i believe your ratings are counted but not positive and it also depeneds on when you watch the show.

if you watch SOAPS and you dvr / tivo then the ratings i believe are +1 or +3 i forget but that pretty much means you have to watch it same day/ two days later.

I believe most primetime is +7 which is a week.

The rating system is broken and we are losing amazing, well written shows left and right due to this broken system and it needs to be vastly improved and fast.

In my opinion you need to keep the Nelsen system but open it up, and don't way all of your viewing data off that but also include your online views + you should glance over at the torrent sites and other sites and add a estimate of those viewers as well.

I believe every t.v. show is doing alot better then the networks 'believe' but because of the Nelsen system everything is dying.

Really, you haven't seen any ads for Chuck, b/c I've seen plenty of ads for Chuck (which I love by the way) during whatever is on now during prime time on NBC. It has seemed to me that they are trying to pump the show. NBC's even re-airing the first season on Sunday nights.

And yay! I thought I was the only one who liked Journeyman. I hated it that that got canceled. Glad to know there's another fan of the show out there.

Journeyman was amazing, but i think it's just the timeslot it was in that killed it, the 'after heroes' timeslot seems to kill whatever goes there, Journeyman , The Black Donnely's , Studio 60 all really well written shows and all died.

Scrubs is coming back early next year on ABC it's a midseason replacement, all the episodes for this season have been filmed and are in the can. This is the last season for a few people but ABC still has the option to pick it up.

If it returns it will be a 'Scrubs the next generation' type show because a majority of the 'major' cast is leaving at the end of this season along with the shows creator. Word on if it will be picked up for another season will come in May 09 at the network upfronts

I think it's a good show. Being that it's on FX they can get away with being more realistic with the violence, cussing, sexual content, etc... There may be a few things that occur that I question, but nothing too far fetched. It's been compared to the Sopranos, but I don't think it's of that calibre story telling wise. I also think I watch it because it's on On Demand so I can view it at my own convenience.

I love Dexter! The two first seasons were unbelievable awesome. The third has now stated a little slow, but I'm looking forward to how it turns out to be. It's quite hard to say witch way the story goes next ^^ Especially that now after

Anyone else here watches the Big bang theory? I've almost caught up with the show and I have to admit I'm enjoying it. The interactions between Sheldon and other people are hilarious, the whole "I'm superior to all of you"-attitude

Yeah, man Dexter is an awesome show, and as you said so far this season isn't as good as the first two, but it still damn good.

I mean, first Dexter kills someone by accident (Oscar Prado) and then he does his first kill of a criminal who hasn't killed anyone (the child molester). I love the scene where he's dragging that guy through the house and he remembers to get the milk. It made me chuckle. Anyways, now Dexter's getting married? There are so many ways this season could go. I'm also very curious as to how much Prado will find out about Dexter and how much he will be able to handle.

Yeah, I recently caught up on the first season as well. I caught a re-run before the second season started and became hooked on it. Maybe it's because the show really appeals to a nerd such as myself (and trust me I feel like a nerd when I get most of the geek references, (as long as they don't have anything to with quantum physics)). And yeah, Sheldon is hilarious, and I love the interaction b/w him and leonard. It always cracks me up.

Oh yeah, any Entourage fans out there? I love that show.
