It would be interesting to see if Tevez does leave if we try and sign Aguero.

I dunno... I think I'd cry if I saw him(Aguero) on the bench... I think he should go to Porto :P

Btw, villa has given us a lifeline in the league. Today has been a good day :D
yes how did we throw it away? poor defending one again by villa. when martin laurson is back from injury we will be solid again.

I didnt say villa threw it away, just that you gave us a lifeline. xD You could have been 8pts ahead and for all intent and purposes we would not have caught up. But now its only six and hypothetically speaking it could be three after your match with city (although its highly unlikely -_-;)

Good wins last night for Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. despite what imperium's sigs says Bendtner was awesome i hear.

its up 2 Villa now to beat man city to keep the pressure on Arsenal.

Yea, bendtner was VERY good, it took everyone by surprise. lol

And since villa lost against city, the gap is now three points, eduardo, adebayor and walcott will be back by the weekend so all in all a good week (so far). But tottenham have won by four goals...i suppose you cant have everything in life.

Edit: I've just checked villa's next fixtures...they have tottenham, liverpool, united than everton. Not a good time to be going through a bad run of form. :smile-big

LOOOOOOOOOOOL, inter lost 3-0 in the coppa italia. It either cassano is the greatest player in the serie a, or rivas is the worst defender. A mixture of the two, i'd say. :oh

Lack of options for the defense. I think Inter should long have reinforced the center defenders... Materazzi's dying, Chivu and Samuel are always injured, Rivas sucks and only Cordoba seems competent enough right now. I heard Inter was interested in Chelsea's R.Carvalho. If so, its a very good choice. I would recomend Porto's Bruno Alves and Benfica's Sidney. The best defenders of our league can use this weakness in most Italian club's defense sector to take a jump in their careers!

Inter was playing with a mix of regulars and players from the bench, guess Mourinho was giving him a second chance :P
Btw, what a fail from Van der Sar today '-'

yeah I was sad to see it end especially the way it did, after he blocked the first strike it was rebounded in. Whatever they still won

I was at White Hart Lane last night. Spurs passing was just above average as usual. Robbie Keane looked like he had never been away. If we can turn our home performances up a notch we should be safe from relegation. I did have echos of 2005-06 though when every time Arsenal lost we then went and fucked up. Just typical that Stoke and Hull won last night so we're only 4 points off the drop.

Its interesting to note that Valencia may have to sell Villa and Silva to pay off debts and Man Utd bidded for Silva in the summer which was rejected, but I think we have a more of a chance of buying him now, but it depends on if the player is willing to move to England or stay in Spain.

I'm glad Chelsea beat Juventus last week since Drogba is one of my favorite players. And it was especially nice to see Drogba score the goal since I haven't seen him do anything in months.

I've also been enjoying most of Barcelona's games lately. Especially the one last week against Atletico Madrid, that ended 3-4. It was probably the best game I've seen in years. Real Madrid played against Atletico yesterday, and it was a similar match, only fewer goals were scored and it ended 1-1. But I felt Atletico deserved to win that one. Both teams had a lot of insane goal chances, but miraculously no more goals were made.

I agree that atletico's last 2 matches were a joy to behold, but I hope they end this streak or Porto will find trouble next wednsday...

I'm really impressed with MU's shape right now. Last match against Fulham they didnt need to use some of their usual starting 11 players to dominte their opponents. Arsenal scored some amazing goals this weekend too

They have been great to watch lately, yeah. It seems like they managed to hold unto their form from the Barcelona game against Real as well. If they show their next match against Porto on TV here I'll definitely watch it.

IF it wasnt for that 40yrd volley-lob goal that catania player scored, eduardo would have been the best goal i've seen this season.

I know what you're saying about Man U. When they start playing this way they become impossible to stop. I'm surprised we've only conceeded two goals against them this season.
