Discussion When Will These Manga End?

At least Jojo has ended several times, and resumes in a different timeline (I havent read it, but I think it's that way) It's not so bad... but the mangaka can just keep writing and drawing...

Aoyama will die with the pen in his hand! Conan won't end till then. I expect it will be unfinished. Hajime no Ippo, Kochikame, Oishinbo, Glass Mask, and Cooking Papa too.

I used to think Hajime no Ippo would end when Ippo became world champ, but looking at the way the manga has done before, I would say he would just start defending the title 800 times. lol

There may be no other way to stop them. Conan is the only one that actually needs resolution.

Once Ippo becomes champ he'll spend the rest of Morikawa's life defending his belt, losing it, regaining it, retiring, struggling with retirement, etc. No I don't read it.

I'm just wondering with some of these manga (Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach)... how more 'godlike' can they get? I'm starting to lose touch with some of them because it's really starting to be not so realistic.

Naruto should be ending soon, sometime next year IMO. Bleach late in 2010, maybe spring of 2011 at the latest. Not much more room for god hood in either series.

1. d.gray-man i could see ending in 5 years or more with it being a monthly series now. could go longer than that.

2. fullmetal i do not see ending anytime soon, which is fine with me.

3. naruto i can see ending in two years, i think the characters have reached their point where the story is at now. once madara is out of the picture and this debate between sasuke and naruto is settled, there's nothing really left. unless kishi pulls a toriyama with naruto and focuses on him when he's grown up and has a family. i doubt it.

4. One Piece, i can see lasting 3 or 5 years more at most, there's still a good amount of material to cover and more to add if need be. i'd be satisfied with that outcome.

5. claymore, not really sure yet.

6. bakuman has two years left. then it's done.

7. bleach. uhhh, i guess if kubo keeps prolonging the whole storyline around a simple goal then yeah, it can go for another 7 years at best. the question is will the material be worth the time used?.

8. tenjho tenge, i'm hoping goes for 3 more years, gotten insanely better in the past two years.

9. gintama can go as long as sorachi-san wants it too. there isn't too many comical manga out there right now. maybe it will go for a complete 10 years.

10. berserk and hunter x hunter, it's unfair to say with the hiatus these two series keep coming across. who knows???.

OP no. Naruto, most likely. Kishi doesn't stretch as much as Kubo.

Unlike Kishi and Oda, Kubo doesn't have a planned ending, there is quite a lot left in Bleach plotwise, and so considering how many battles will therefore happen and how Kubo stretches these, I don't see why not, though it would be horrible if it did.

Berserk is only 60% done, FMA should be ending within the 30th Volume, but my one question is when Gintama will end.

But he's been doing this since '76 and the average death rate for men is about 68....so maybe Kochi will end in another decade.
