Yep, mr. Prince posted that in the ToC thread too. Not sure how to understan it he said, he thought the same things like you.

So yeah, this is basically good news and I assume that might have to do with recent arc

oh and on a sidenote, for people who ignored the announcement,

But then I think Psyren is an exception that it survive so long before finally getting some good promo (colour pages, previous voting etc); luck was somewhat on sensei's side - most stories that didn't succeed immediate usually gets cut off it year one.

So any news of how Psyren is doing? We haven't any news lately. So, does anybody know how Psyren is doing in Toc? And I think that now it has gone to the point where they are fighting against the WISE, so I suppose that the rating will be good.

However I have to say - I believe Psyren is interesting because they are in permanent crisis mode! Sensei paced it as fast as possible and tried all means to keep readers tuned to next chapter because of the cancellation pressure, as opposed to big names that can take 40 chapters / 2 years to talk about an arc....

I say permanent crisis mode - after Eyeshield conclusion and Hoopman cancellation, Psyren is near bottom again:

But the strangest thing is that bottom usually signifies lack of popularity, but Psyren is getting a centre coloured pages in Issue 33 (10 days from now)!?!

Everybody wants to know about Nemesis Q, and now that we are in the climax of getting to know it, it's possible that next week it could direct the story to Hiryuu or Oboro, and somehow intertwine all the characters once again at the end. It's very common for mangakas to do that.

No, the only shounen of wsj that'll get a chapter is d.g-m but an easy explanation is it's hiatus.

Maybe there'll be some art or promotion pages but let's say we'll have to do one week without psyren

Um, yes. ^_^;

As some people in the 2ch said, Iwashiro sensei deserve credit for making this number (and making it so far) on a solid story alone. Nurari's greatest powers partially lies in its full-paged illustrations, and in a time where many people buy based on the cover alone it is a HUGE advantage. (for this, I expect the coming Medaka and Akaboshi to sell quite well. Both of the manga's best part is the drawing.)

Hey - but Psyren is now nearly on par with Neuro's sales - approaching the lowest sales line for TV Animation for Jump Manga! XD

Well Psyren is in the bottom five for the fourth or fifth time in a row. On the other hand, issue 45 will get colour.

I'm not surprised it's in the bottom 5 considering the story was pretty weak during that part. Once they rescue Lady Q is when we'll get higher results.

(For people not heard of it - the Sai Moe tournament was a Japanese-wide one on 2ch that and Fu-chan has made it through I think 3 or 4 Prelimary rounds of out thousands of girl characters.

People on 2ch Survival Race counted that all except two girls are from work that is animated. GREAT WORK PSYREN!!)
