You gotta realize Akaboshi was last many weeks in a row too. They lay give Kagijin a longer a chance. We'll see where it all goes.

And I don't think that thing you found on 2ch is anything but a prediction. Only stuff with the tripcodes on top are by official people, and the have to have the proper diamond symbol there, proving they're using a real tripcode, the interpreted password.

That one didn't have anything so they probably only put it in the opening this as "maybe true". Unless they match the user's ID code (ID:Vxp866mJ0) to someone else's who did use a tripcode... which I don't see that anywhere.

Akaboshi might've been last for a couple weeks straight yeah, but it has a higher chance of surviving the next cut then Kagijin.

Akaboshi's volume is dropping now, with a good rate of sales it's survival is decided, but I don't think they'll wait that long for Kagijin, it will probably end within 5 chapters.

That's know for quite some time now, I even said it some time ago in this topic.

Shueisha announced those (a bit later then their Yu-Gi-Oh! Special announcement), then again, I haven't seen an announcement of Naruto in the manga, Toriko even announced it in chapter 66, Reborn also announced it in it's Manga.

I don't remember seeing the October 12th thing though. They've been known to be in the JSAT, but that's something that goes around Japan, not so much having a certain air date.

Is there only two colours on issue 46, Nartuo and Reborn?

On the Akaboshi/Medaka subject, I think I should remind you (for whatever reason) that Akaboshi only got last place once, in its tenth week, related to chapter 3. Itr's not like having been just above To-Love-Ru (which it did several times) is a big deal anyway, but hey, it was not officially last place for these weeks. :P

As for this week's bottom 5... I'm kinda confused. I wouldn't be surprised if it corresponded to chapter 12, which was pretty mediocre. But if it's related to chapter 13... uh... anyway, I'll just wait and see how the upcoming Ryouzanpaku chapters do before passing down any judgement on whether Akaboshi's screwed or not. I still have hope.

Its related to chapter 12. Next week is chapter 13's ranking.

No, I think it is correspond to chapter 13. I think you forgot add upcoming chapter 20.

If it is true, then I think two colours are too short for one issue. I thought Jump always have at least three colours in one issue. Does anyone know any issue that had only two colours?

My bad. I was thinking 19 was for this week.

I can't think of an exact issue, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it done before. Its not really a big deal, there probably just isn't anything they what to give color this week to except Naruto and Reborn.

Yeah, I found it. The last time there were two colours are in issue 8 of 2009. But weird thing is that colour was for Gintama and one shot, Trigger Keeper.

I always thought two color spreads an issue was more common. Jump has just been acting funny this year. Sunday and Magazine rarely give more than two series an issue color. Even Jump rarely did it in 2007 and 2008, when three color pages happened it was kind of a special occasion.

First one is "Mikakunin Shonen Gedo" by the author of Jigoku Sensei Nube. It got axed, but still managed to last five volumes. The second is "Muteki Tekki Spin-chan" by Amon Dai. Got axed pretty quickly. No idea about the third.

[xi0]Actually, Gedou was only from the artist of Nube.[/xi0]

Re: Weekly Shounen Jump [2009] - Discussion & TOC Talk v.3

New Thread!! I've opened a Weekly Shonen Jump Cover and Color Page Archive to keep track of back issues. Any one looking for old covers please check there! From now, please do not request old covers in this thread. I will carry over covers as they are posted to the opening post just as I do in this thread. I will move all of the 2009 covers out of this thread when issue 1, 2010 comes out.
