I watched Harry Potter 6 here the other day. I heard so much crap about it so I just had to check it out for myself. I must say, what a fail at trying to make a romance, lol. And where was the climax?

I actually found Pelham to be a bit of a disappointment. Probably because I had such huge expectations for it though, a habit I just can't seem to shake off even though it just continuingly ruins my movie watching experience.

I guess I'm not too surprised, though.. I mean Tony Scott movies are either, judging from the ones I've seen, really entertaining or just.. sleeping pills. This one was neither, but it was far from what it could have been. Travolta and Washington were badass, though, I have to give it that.

Watch the original instead. It has the brilliant tongue-in-cheek writing of the 70s and has Walter Matthau, Jerry Stiller, and Robert Shaw. The score was pretty good as well.


I just got back from Goats. The line of humor dragged on a bit, but the ending made up for that. Additionally, Spacey's character felt obligatory, rather than well conceived. Overall, I'd probably place the movie near Pirate Radio in terms of quality. It's funny but not especially memorable.

I don't know if I'll go see Goats yet. maybe for $5. I just don't like movies that make Ewan McGregor take an American accent. He just sounds like such a pussy...it ruins the whole movie. LOL

1. Romeo Must Die. I can't really remember how many times i rewatched the whole show full or not. But i remember for both (watching the whole thing and not) was at least 7 or more times.
2. Ip Man & Star Wars Episode III - I only watched the fighting scenes.

I watched Harry Potter 6 here the other day. I heard so much crap about it so I just had to check it out for myself. I must say, what a fail at trying to make a romance, lol. And where was the climax?

Most of this movie is about "modern" romance, sadly. I find it very disturbing since this was based off one of the more interesting books (especially with Voldemort's lineage, which was not explained in the film). The "climax" is somewhere between the lines of Harry/Dumbledore in the cave because there sure as hell weren't any climatic scenes during the invasion of Hogwarts (Dumbledore's death).

The last good Harry Potter movie was Goblet of Fire, ever since then theyve been shite and Im afraid the last two movies probably impress me much.

I saw 2012 today and it was IMO a very good movie. It's crazy just thinking how things like that can go down. It really sucks how California is the first place affected by the disasters.
