About the 525th episode, it seems an insect zoan was added to the story to defend the LVL 2 with the beasts : that " insect " can stand on his feet and wears an ID uniform.

I don't remember that WB was talking to Ace in a flashback in the last episodes. It is in the 562th ?

we are curently at episode 425 (tomorrow) and then there will be four weeks of movie specials (a little filler arc so to say). please don't spoiler people with future happenings in here.

I don't remember that WB was talking to Ace in a flashback in the last episodes. It is in the 562th ?

It's in 422 and again in 423. Whitebeard invites Ace to his crew and calls him son.

Hmm, yeah what's with the insect guy? I do hope they don't mess this arc up to much adding stuff like that, since it's one of the best arcs so far.
Good as it is, though, this might very well be the first time ever I can't wait to see fillers (although I'd rather call it specials than fillers).

I think Magellan is much funnier in the manga when he was spreading the poisonous breath while speaking than in the anime where he has to blow.

My favorite part of the episode is with the mantis staff worker. LOL at how it gets stuck easily, while Luffy and Buggy decide to leave.
Magellan's voice really did not fit, but again he serves more of a comic relief than an actual antagonist at this point.

If you read last page you'll know that everyone knew it since some time It's more of a movie specials to build up to movie 10 coming in December and it'll last 4 episodes iirc. The movie looks pretty interesting so personally I don't mind the "filler" episodes to come (although of course I would have much rather had them stay on course).

If you read last page you'll know that everyone knew it since some time It's more of a movie specials to build up to movie 10 coming in December and it'll last 4 episodes iirc. The movie looks pretty interesting so personally I don't mind the "filler" episodes to come (although of course I would have much rather had them stay on course).

Yeah, One Piece tends not to include a filler arc within the middle of canon. But with Sengoku mentioning Kinjishi, it makes sense that they place the arc devoted to his movie here.

well the anime is pretty close to the manga, so a little filler won't be that bad for it
