Yabuki Kentarô new manga is Mayoi Neko Overrun (Light Novel) adaptation

This does not excite me based on what I read at AnimeNewsNetwork, but hopefully I will be surprised...

Bottom five is pretty typical.
Psyren went down from being third a couple weeks ago, but I suppose that happens. Same with Bakuman which goes up and down.
Akedoki and Medaka still aren't doing well.
The unrakned series are so far staying out of the bottom five, which is pretty typical I guess.

Most likely HXH will get the cover on Issue 5-6. Probably opening color too, but either last time or two ago it only had the cover.

Bakuman keeps yo-yoing.

Ane Doki plummets again. If Jump wants to cancel it I won't throw much of a fit over it. It hasn't been as entertaining since Kawashita seemed to have been doing more of the same old same old. Though the latest chapter was indeed something different and interesting.

Psyren seems to be struggling again after a getting 3rd a few weeks ago. It is a shame because the story has been great for a long time now but it just can't seem to maintain those high ranks on a consistent basis.

Medaka improved compared to last week but not well enough to escape the bottom 5. Rilienthal managing to claw its way out is good for it. Hokenshitsu has returned to the basement as though.

I look forward to Mago color.

I'd have liked if Yabuki came up with his own series but oh well, I already decided to go along with it when it was announced the first time.

Ane Doki is in last two weeks straight. Not good. ITA it is not as good as her other series, she needs some new tricks. Nice to see Mago getting more color so soon!

Wasn't it out of the bottom 5 last week? I don't think it has been last for 2 weeks in a row. Thought Medaka was in dead last, last week but I could be wrong.

Yeah, that's what I thought it was. Either way It's not good. It'll be interesting to see what gets axed first, Medaka or Ane Doki. Both seem to be on their way out.

so the speculation about Mayoi Neko Overrun was correct huh.

Rilienthal is out of bottom 5, and Ane Doki is doing bad.... Medaka is almost same as usual.

and again, no news of Naoshi Komi....

The 2nd anniversary of Psyren will be in the first Issue of the year, so for this it won't get color...

Psyren got its first year anniversary colour on issue 9 of 2009, so it might possible for Psyren to get second year anniversary colour on next year.

On change of subject, I did asked this question, but it got off topic, therefore I didn't get lot of answers. So I'll ask it again. I want to know people's overall review (or response) of 2000s era, also I want to know poeple's top 10 2000s series.

mmm it is unrealistic, since chapter 97 opens a new development in the saga. Psyren can not end in a few chapters (hopefully..)

Which was a retarded move by the editors but I'll leave the disdain for another thread. Although Shaman King sold way more than Psyren so Psyren lacking in that department isn't helping it.

A lot of the time they give a manga its anniversarya couple issues late, like that, with issue 9. Often because those have their actual anniversary while new series are starting or because other series have big things going on. Like with One Piece this year.

Psyren'll probably go on for a while, I don't see it ending soon. It's got a really complex plot and still plenty to go through.

Which reminds me, I wonder if HXH will finish this arc in this next run of chapters... maybe. Seeing as it's gone in all different directions where we can't tell where the story will lead to next.
Course the series isn't going to end, but there could be a new OVA possibly if the arc ends. It certainly sells more than enough to get one, but since the arc has been delayed so much is likely why they never did the rest.

Mx0 was tanking for ages.

Psyren was just in the top three.

Which isn't to say Psyren can't be in danger of course, but I don't think there's a need to worry in the short term.

I have quick question. Is Horikoshi Kouhei (who going to be release his one shot on issue 2) a same guy from who appeared on Japanese variety show (Yume, Mirai!).
