Wasn't as good as I expected,they kindda dragged this episode in many ways.
But either way, the jet bazooka part is the most epic.

Bon clay transforming into luffy was quite fun, contrary to the collection of his attacks against magellan.
I didn't find that the bazooka was well made, a bit like the tenryubito punch, it seems they have troubles rendering such actions wrt the manga

I really enjoyed this episode. I had all ....suspense, fights, comic. The part when bon chan turned into luffy was hilarious.

That episode was dissapointing.. I hoped that Luffys fight with Magellan would be better animated. Only last minutes of episode had propper animation. But Bon-Chan was epicly hilarious I want to see future episodes with better animation..

in that episode i was reminded why i dont want bon clay in the sh-crew, gosh he was so annoying, just terrible, cant wait to see the episodes without him =)

To show that before Bon Clay left Luffy alone against Magellan, he tried everything to make Luffy avoid this fight.

This episode was meh...not that great. Bon Clay transforming into Luffy was cool Queer Gomu Gomu lol . Magellan's DF ability is so awesome in the anime!!!! I can't wait to see more of it!

Well quite meh episode...
I want Inoue as director... episode 312 had an aweeessoooomm animation!! I wanted that to this Saga! Not this crap!
The Luffy vs Lucci fight was also well animated... but they're doing crappy animations now, and since the auditions won't drop, the quallity won't raise, is cheaper this way!

Well, he just ran off in the manga, didn't he? That's why I asked. Again an anime filler contradicts the manga, which seriously sucks.

The Bon Kurei filler bits really took away from the Luffy vs Magellan fight. If anything, they should have had that as filler with Luffy trying to find a way to hit Magellan without the poison touching him, before resigning to that possiblity. The okama Luffy bit was funny on its own though. I'm disappointed with the animation, it only got better at the end.

Just finished watching, gotta say if I didn't read the manga when I started hearing that ost when Luffy's about to beat Enel and then now it looks like he's about to beat Maggelan, I'd be fooled.

One of the most emotional episodes, well for me who doesn't really like to see Luffy in pain, and this one he really was in pain.

Guess next week he's already going to appear well @ the very end @ least.

My episode prediction was kinda right (though I didn't post it anywhere)

Spoiler: contains spoilers for next episodes, minimal spoilers, but spoilers nevertheless

So I'm guessing that @ the end of the next episode we'll see Luffy making the wolves faint then Inazuma appears @ the end of the episode.

The following episode 438 we see Bon chan waking up in Level 5.5 with Iva and all the others, he gets things explained to him and then @ the end of the episode we see Iva talking about how luffy being in treatment.

Episode 439 will be they rooting for Luffy, Ace beginning to be transported to level 1, and Luffy waking up @ the end of the episode.

440 Luffy and Iva talk, it's revealed to Iva that Luffy is Dragon's son, causing more shock, then they go to level 6. I'm betting it ends with either Crocodile talking to them or them getting there and Ace not being there. Either way it's gonna be awesome the next weeks

I could make a long term episode prediction but I'm more interested in going to sleep now xD

i was expecting last episode to include this episode too,
but guess they kindda dragged it a little.
Hurts my heart seeing luffy like this again, ohhh the pain.
Anyway, we're gonna find out

One Piece Episode 436
The episode was rather short (17 minutes of new content). Most of it was Luffy struggling to continue fighting Magellan after being poisoned. Mr. 2's subplot of running away from Magellan but then fighting Hannybal to save Buggy/Mr. 3 only covered so much. It was unfortunate that we didn't get to see the end result of Mr. 2's transformation on Hannybal.

what puzzled me is that they add things that hint Magellan as a logia :
*the cloud which is part of him
*when luffy says his attack as no effect (when he hits Magellan, it's logia like)
I'm not sure that was wise
