Looooooooooooool, BB is near WB level???? You must've not seen the new arc at all!! I mean, WB against the whole marines and even after that BB is defeated straight away, even worse he begs WB not to kill him!! BB is 100 years too early to match up against the big guys... the only thing he is good at is being sneaky.

Nd noe, BB can not beat marco, Marco has landed at least 1 hit on all three admirals, nd he doesnt have to be a captain to beat BB.

Im still with Marco, his ability to regenerate, haki and experience puts him imo above BB. Though I think there is a limit in how much he can regenerate, I assume that skill would drain a lot of stamina. Such a godlike skill can't be without a high price. So in the end it comes down to a stamina battle. Anyway, I believe Marco is slightly stronger.

Yes, but look at the last page where BB is shown. Ace burned him, put fire lances through his body and did all kind of damage. Yet there is no brand marks or any other wounds shown on BB body at the end. That implies that he didn't took serious damage, even if he was crying for pain during the battle. So the battle was more one-sided.

I'm voting for Marco, because
1) Blackbeard is fat, slow and only a Tank/Stamina character. Marco is incredibly fast and could attack Blackbeard without getting damaged..
2) Marco's power allows him to regenerate, even if he does get damaged somehow.
Counterpoint for myself - If Blackbeard manages to get Marco with Dark Whirlpool and suck his DF out temporarily, he will own Marco pretty hard...

The main issue here is that he lacks a way to escape gravity. Not even WB could, he simply made an attack on BB as he got close to him. Also, Marco lacks long range attacks. I also have my doubts about marco actually using a weapon. He could potentially also be caught by darkness underneath like so many other people. Marco could give trouble but I don't see him winning.

Then again, Marco is a character that you basically have to one-shot K.O. Since he can regenerate from all wounds and damage, Blackbeard could probably win if used dark vortex then kept hold of Marco permanently whilst bashing him unconcious.

I don't know, Marco seemed exceptionally strong at the start of this arc, but then was basically jumping between a hundred fights by the end. I found it hard to gauge his true power level.

i hav an idea , BB negates marco's DF then uses a quake on him and marco says his last words .
i think chapter 577 has just determined the outcome of this thread .

Seriously, Marco seems to be the invincible pirate of the whole manga. Not because he's the strongest - this arc proved that the strongest man alive could be killed - but because of his power : he can't be injured by classical attacks and as soon as he gets hurt, he heals. Kizaru was not lieing when he said his DF was scarcer than logias.

Two things need to be known about his DF :
- If you're injuring him (let's say with Haki) and do not stop to hit him, do the first injuries he got from the first blows heal ?
- If you manage to deprive him of his power for a while and K.O him, as soon as you gets away from him and let him free, do his power activates by itself and heals him ?


Depending on the answer to these questions, the only way to beat him might be to kill him in a sole hit because even if he got K.O, he may heal, wake up, stand up and ask for a second match.

I think before when it was one df vs one df MARCO!!!!!!!! now with the fact that BB has TWO DFs i have no idea, but i would cheer for Marco all the way.

I think BB wins. Darkness forces him in, removes his power and a quake to the face defeats him unless he has the same resistance as BB. Anyways, I don't see any plausible way in which marco can win.

We have seen Marco basically get shot through the chest with seastone cuffs on and recover with them off. The advantage that Marco has over anyone else in a fight against BB is that when he gets caught by him and injured he can then recover, whereas someone like Ace getting hurt having injuries left over from the contact. Marco also has wings to possibly fly away from being pulled in, and in the air there is also not much an earthquake can do.

It was said that if you eat the DF of a creature you get the attributes of that being. I dont know if anyone knows but a Phoenix cant die. So that means Marco cant lose; doesnt mean he will always win though.

was it ever said that marco is immortal he falls under a df user meaning that if his ability is negated he bocomes human so if he dies as human its over and if he dies as a phoenix then he might regenerate .

It was never said, i did assume, however it is said that you have the attributes of the animal. That is true, if BB kills him USING yami yami, he wouldnt come back, but if he knocks him out using the Gura then he MIGHT come back. it would be an interesting fight though.
P.S. i dont think we have seen the extent of Marco's power.

I would go for BB. Gravity paralizes marco and darkness negates his ability while a quake to the head trashes him. Repeat until marco is done.

Especially now.
Even just with the Yami Yami I'd still say BB seems to be hyper resilient.
I'm still shocked WB slammed him in to the ground and he got up...

Marco is a tough opponent but prob. still a win for BB
