Theory test is so easy, most of it is just general knowledge.

Yea most of it is like,

"If you see a person bleeding profusely on the sidewalk should you:
A) Drive on
B) Turn your hazard lights on and then drive on
C) Call an ambulance
D) Ask for their insurance

I would have smashed it, was getting around 49/50 on the practices. Ahh well. >.>;

Yeah, there was a tricky question in there like

"If you don't see a speed limit sign, how do you know what speed to do?"

And the answer was that if there's traffic lights posts, it means you can only do 30 mph. Damn lol

I read that stupid highway code book like 30 mins before the test. No worries. Everyone seems to recommend that "Official DSA Theory" handbook piece of junk. Nothing special in it tbh. I just had a quick flick through an hour before my test. No sweat. The test is very easy imho.

People seem to fail a lot on the "Hazard Perception" part of the test.

Imperium, have you started your driving lessons yet? Or are you finishing up the theory test before you start doing lessons?

I need to get a car asap, taking da bus is not serious at all, especially down ends like Birmingham where it feels like everyone has curfew after certain hours .

Theory test is quite easy, people stress for nothing...

BTW, I just came back from working at the gadget show live at NEC birmingham. all the cast were there, so many people..I was working at the buffet restaurant inside and got to see them quite a few times, after my shift ended I just walked around the hall looking at the awesome stuff they had there. There were most of the consoles from the 80's onwards that everyone was trying out in the hall of fame section, as well as old mac and other techs.

Got back from seeing Kick-Ass.. and it was kickass! Liked it more than I'd thought, actually.

Am I the only one around here who really isn't into soccer? =o

(Notice how I even used soccer instead of football...haha)

Nope, I'm not either.. But then again, I'm not into any kind of sports. Especially not watching.

Well I dunno bout that but yeah it was at the NEC, it took up a few halls too 9-12 I think. I worked in the buffet restaurant in hall 12. On my last day I sold a hotdog to the guy who wears glasses!that was on Saturday *highlight!!!!* he was very nice, I shoulda got an autograph, people behind him in the queue just started leaning over and taking pics with him but he was very nice about it and didn't complain or nothing...

I forgot to mention this really cool, round aquarium they had on display and the 3d tvs were O_O
