Jimbei vs Emporio Ivankov

So now I want to discuss how do you guys see outcome of fight between Jimbei before his injury from Akainu and Ivankow our favorite okama(ofcourse favorite after Bon-Chan ? Fight between them is taking place in Marineford plaza.

Dunno..... ivankov is really powerful, he was even able to walk away from a fight with the real kuma and did not seem to have gotten significantly hurt after the war. He managed that even though he was a victim to magellans poison. Jimbei is also extremely powerful.... In a fight in land I think iva would have the advantage. In a fight near water jimbei would most likely win.

Iva had guts to fight Magellan one on one and Jimbei avoided it when he was with both Luffy and Crocodile.. But he avoided unnecessary fights because he is wise(he stopped Luffy from fighting Blackbeard) and Ivankov wanted to buy as much time as he can for the rest to escape. Still I think that when Akainu tried to kill Luffy Iva stopped him for longer than Jimbei so I would say that "Queen" of the Kamabakka Kingdom wins this time.

I'd say Jinbei, simply because he is able to counter DF powers so effectively, as well as having his Fishman Karate to counter Iva's Newkama Kenpo.

It wasnt shown in manga that fishman karate is stronger than okama kenpo soo we dont know taht it is enough for Jimbei to counter Iva(probably it is).

As it was said, Iva has advantage on the land, but if they fight near the water, Jimbei would win.
Though we didn't see much of a fight of these two, so we didn't see the extent of their capabilities.

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but since Jimbei was put in level 6 and Ivankov was only put in level 5, doesn't that mean Jimbei is more stronger(or dangerous?) than Ivankov?

It would just means he's more of a threat, not more powerful. Croc was in level 6 while Iva was on 5, but Iva can beat Croc.

I agree with everyone who said that Iva would win on land while Jinbei would win at sea.

I know that, I'm just saying that even if it's not something battle oriented, it could catch Croc of guard and give his opponent an advantage.

IMO only reason Jimbei wasn't able to hold off Akainu for longer was because he was on land. Jimbei would have a huge advantage over any opponent on water, expecially devil fruit users.

Now we haven't see the extent to their abilities yet so we cant rule out whose more powerful.So we'll just have to wait for the fishman arc to see how strong jinbei really is before judging

we have to consider 2 types of jimbe's fightsne where he's in water and one where he's on earth. One Piece has a world almost all of water so Jimbe's strength increases a lot. if they aren't in water or near a place of water,Iva win,also because(as jimbe said)he's not much stronger out of water. but if they are there or near,Jimbe would win.
In this fight you consider Marineford,so probably Jimbe would win...
