Before I completely fade away into the shadows of mafia game five, there's something I want to understand How did A_I try to protect Imperium but killed him instead, or was that just a mistake? What is the actual role of the Insane Detective. Can he kill people every night as oppose to the serial killer who kills every other night?

The insane detective doesn't kill anyone. He investigates people and they always appear as mafia to him. Imperium was killed by an insane doc, who have a 50% chance of killing someone they try to protect

if u're looking for the culpirit look in this group (E3, Bugz, Imp, kakashi, A_I), some mafias there 100% sure. keep an eye on Freid also for the rest of the game, he avoided to involve himself lots in this round and he voted for someone with 0vote when the round is almost over
