Well I always wanted to have a militar carreer and get a big rank. And I saw the air force had a civil engenieer course so I thought it would fit both my wishes.

Besides I get to fly for free sometimes which helps with my goal to travel the world.

And there's many more reasons for that

Re: Banana wants to join the Air Force :O

That's great!

Are you going to start studying civil engineering in college? Or are you currently studying something similar atm in school to set you up for college? Obviously, there are different routes into the military. I assume you want to get all the educational qualifications first and then apply/go into it, right? As oppose to just signing up to the military straight away lol.

No I'm going straight into the military since they have their own universities.

First I'll be doing a course as a pilot and that itslef is already equivalent to an university degree and then they have specialization on many cientific fields.

From cartography, economy and stuff to spacial engenieering.

Re: Banana wants to join the Air Force :O

Brazilian or Portuguese military?

BBB Banana · Mar 9, 2011

Re: Banana wants to join the Air Force :O

Brazilian

I could apply to the portuguese but Portugal's military sucks since they don't have a real need for it they just have low quality training and studies.

And the smal little problem that they dont have one. :derp

So are you thinking of doing that instead of the architecture?

Re: Banana wants to join the Air Force :O

Eh so you are really joining the army. Well, based on my experiences, it's not the place I'd never want to have a career in, but I respect your choice. I must say, that as the weatherdude I were lot in contact with the airforce crew, especially the flight engineers, and those were most likely the coolest and most relaxed crew I dealt with during my service. :thumbs

So true

No I'm still doing architecture I'm just postponing it for after I finish the civil engenieering degree.

That way I can do whole buildings as opposed to just desigining them

That's nice to hear Ust. Do you know what kind of physical training the air force has?

No idea, but I think it's pretty much the same as everywhere. Lots of running, crawling, jumping while carrying heavy objects.

Seems like it but there's still one year for that so no worries.

Also I'm not even sure if I'll be accepted :XD
