Well Ultimo has good tank sales here in the US...but of course with Japan being Japan, they don;t really take that into account much
Yeah, I don't think so. It only counts how it'll do in Japan.

Only problem with that is that they don't give a damn about our opinions,as we don't buy the WSJ.Nor do we buy the tankobons,so they don't need polls like this.Even though I do want one.

It's true XD we're technically the enemy since we just read it online for free lol,

and sales are so miniscule for manga everywhere else in the world when compared to Japan, So Jump wouldn't give a damn XD They're in it for the money, not to please freeloaders on foreign coasts :3

and even if you argue 'well, I Import all the manga I read online', it's still such a small amount that Shueisha won't care, sadly *mopes in my imported manga corner*

:3 but It's a nice thought

While I do read my fair share off stuff online I still do buy manga of a few series here in the states Bleach, Naruto and Jormugand (Not a SJ series but still awesome manga everyone should check it out) Thats the same as if I where buying it over there. All fans should be able to support there series. Im a hopless dreamer I guess.LOL

With our western manga industry and the amount of money Shueisha makes from selling their wares over here as opposed to in Japan? Yeah, it's totally the same :P

If WSJ used same voting method as SQ (vote by online), then I think international reader can also participate on voting for their favorite WSJ series; you still have to buy magazine, though.

From Murata's twitter, he said he just finished working on chapter 2 of his new series; thus it most likely that Murata is working for weekly magazines. Which means, Murata is might return either Shonen Jump or Young Jump.

Another Bleach colorspread... WHY CAN'T THEY LET ME ENJOY THE LOW RANKINGS!? :C

Goddamn it, I really hope Stars will get higher rankings and won't get cancelled.

Random Information

Nurarihyon no Mago ranked top 5 in the 2010 Issue #43, but has not yet to even enter the top half of the TOC since 2010 Issue #44 excluding CP's. It has also yet to receive a Lead CP since 2010 Issue #33. Nurarihyon no Mago also had his editor change recently.

Hitman Reborn! has also not had a Lead CP since 2010 Issue #26.

Medaka Box has not had a Lead CP since its first chapter.

This is an odd looking TOC. Sket;s in first, and Bakuman and Beelzebub are towards the bottom half. It looks like Magico is managing to bounce back. Odd since it really hasn;t gotten that much better, but at this point I;d be cool if any of the newer series survive.

I guess at this rate Enigma probably will be a goner unless Kurogane flops...which is pretty likely actually.

Sket in first, whoa! Good for Magico, coming back a bit. Bakuman will probably fall even further before that arc ends.

I think its really great that Sket Dance is finally getting the love it deserves. T_T

I can't help but LOL a little at Bakuman being one step away from the bottom five. Bleach being at sixth place is definitely better than last time. But its still not back to its former glory yet....I guess a color page really is appropriate! Say what you want about the storyline, but Kubo's colorspreads are usually pretty spiffy.

As for the bottom TOC, I guess we'll have to place our bets on who goes first, Engima or ST&RS. :S

I'm curious about next week's oneshot. A shonen manga about dancing sounds kind of cool!

Romance and/or Ecchi Average Rankings

I''s: ----------------- 2.71
Kagami no Kuni: - 6.57 (Kano Yasuhiro) Serializing
Pretty Face: ------ 6.57 (Kano Yasuhiro)
Ichigo 100%: ----- 7.86
To Love Ru: ------- 8.71
Lilim Kiss: ---------- 10.86
Hatsukoi Limited:--12.86
Ane Doki: ---------- 14.00

These are the averages for the first 7 chapter rankings for Romance and/or Ecchi series that began in Jump after 1996.
I''s is incredibly high because it was hugely pimped by Jump and it also ranked really high when it began.
Kano has the same 7 chapter average with both of his series which is interesting. Hopefully it doesn't turn out like Pretty Face.

There is no news that Hunter is going to hiatus; thus, Hunter going to serialize for another 10 weeks, at least.
