I already know all that part about enjoying the time we have together and whatnot... Done that before (with somewhat disturbing results although I don't actually count on the situation being the same). Still, it is a bit of a bummer that I found a girl I actually like (she is easy on the eye too) and it turns out she is leaving. I would question how much of a pen pall I could be. Even if I have written a lot of posts here (maybe too many thinking about it but then again I thought that 5000 posts ago and 2500 before that) I do have a thorough dislike for texting.

Texting isn't really the be-all-end-all when it comes to communication anyways

I confess that I'm not a fan of texting either.Speaking with someone,especially with girls and the girl you like is so much more enjoyable.Actually,you can't even compare it.So I guess I understand your aversion to texting.Skyping might be a possibility for you.(Even though I'm not a fan of that either.It's even worse than texting.)

Skype is certainly more natural than your hands cramping up from texting. But most are tethered to their computers to do so.

I don't know.It just feels kinda awkward when you're being watched the entire time,while sitting in front of your computer doing mostly random stuff.I prefer talking to someone face to face.When you text with someone you still have a certain sense of distance,which is not all that entertaining and enjoyable,but it has its advantages.Skype feels like a weird thing in the middle.But maybe it's just me.

Ah, I guess it depends on whether you're camming or just voice-chatting. Plus you're comfort level with that person obviously.

I confess it's an amazing feeling to talk to someone that you love, even if she rejected you. It was still friendly, as if I've never confessed to her. Not hopeful at all, but I'd rather be friends with her than nothing at all.

Excuse the following dump of grumpyness. I have just been informed that as of three days ago, the city can evict my parents at any time. Our home has been in foreclosure for a while, and we have been substantially lucky to have such a grace period. This means a few things:
- parent's depression goes up
- cats may have to be given up
- have to find housing for summer
- overall, quality of life heads to the shithole

The only ways to attempt to save things are to proceed to legal action to delay the foreclosure (consisting of a couple thousand $ to start and the hope that the bank is carrying out an illegal foreclosure), sacrifice all of my connections to get one of my parents a job (and not run into the dish of fucktards that I would like to end in a Mexican landfill, aka human resources), and try to get my parents less depressed (fat fucking chance of that, considering the longterm loss of employment, their plethora of health issues including life-threatening diseases that we can't afford care for let alone diagnosis, and the fact that they could be kicked out of the house in three days this month.)

So yeah. I'm trying desperately not to hate every living thing right now, and hold to my deadlines and assignments and future along with fighting every day against what we're facing.

Thanks guys. Spending more of today working on chores, like saying my goodbyes to our buried pets (better it be on my own terms, my brother said) and working on selling my old rickety sailboat. It's all pretty upsetting.

For the first time I'm sort of at a loss earthforge. Nothing any of us say can really take the feeling away. Just know that you have a place here to vent and people here who care.

I confess I have two interviews this week regarding internship. I'm nervous and hope it goes well. First one is tomorrow at 3.

Earthforge, you're a smart girl. Despite the fact that it seems like you've been dealt a shitty hand more than once, we've seen you make it out all right time after time. It's difficult to relate to the position you're in and I hope that one of your parents can find a steady job in a time when that's hard to come by for even the most honest, hard-working people.

The only hopes I would have is that you hold on to that brilliant level head of yours and above all else, don't lose your sense of humor.
