I think themes are fun, but like many have said it adds some extra confusion to the game. Both when we had mafia nicknames and Pokemon trainer roles, I've found myself writing the users regular nicknames and then having to go back in the thread or to page 1 to check who was called what etc, sometimes losing track of thought simply because I wanted to stick to the theme. Last game I also had to rewrite my posts by changing "Detective" to "Growlithe trainer" etc in pretty much every post.. It's fun, especially when someone like Teub shows up and creates a whole backstory for his character (XD), but at the same time it's pretty nice to just be able to state your theories without having to go back and double-check that you have the right names and stuff several times in every post..

well that's why the avatars with the name help, ya kno'? you don't have to check the firsst page to see their mafia name cuz it appears in their avi @w@ worst case scenario you'll have to go back a page or two depending on how active the user is , to see his avi xDDD though that's basically the same thing xDDD but it's not certain it;s a possibility xDDD
