I have a question…do every OOC thread has to have the format that you used for the other OOC threads? I mean story, mechanics, rules, setting, and characters. Or we can write a post that could be the start of a RP story and start from there.

That is just my style, every GM is free to choose whatever they like as their format and rules. Just go wild with the imagination!
