Oh, and I've already died twice on HC characters starting the game on MP10. Both, funny enough, at act 2 =(

I had a period where I did 1lvl/day. No big deal. Ty, but I'm not planning on going any higher I think

The DH is indeed more impressive. I've been close to dying a few times, but I mostly avoid the zones I know can be dangerous with certain power combos. E.g. tight tunnel like areas with Champ pack with U-wall, arcane, frozen/chain/etc can be really scary. Especially if they're naturally fast (and hit hard), and with fast power on top of that. I don't farm A1 though. I tried MP1 in A1 but it's a little dangerous as the mobs get over double the HP and 40% dmg increase. Not what you want to risk in HC unless you are seriously well geared. I'm not comfortable enough as I am now. Farming MP0 A3 is more efficient in all ways. The benefit of putting on MP1+ is that you get A3 MP0 lvl mobs (+ the extra MF etc.). If I farm A3 MP0 it's the same as farming A1 MP1 only with 25% lower MF. Hardly worth it considering the big increase in risk.

I meant MP0 A1. You saw how even level 80+ paragon died in HC in A1 pre-patch, it'd honestly be too risky to A3 even at MP0 imo. The mobs there are too annoying, especially the big fat golem thingys that protect themselves then rush you and kill. A1 mobs aren't much better but at least they're weaker.

Ah well, as long as you're awake I guess you can actually do anything

I know the risk. But my DPS is high enough to kill most packs rather quickly. On top of that my HP is really high, and my resistance is decent. The most trouble I get by far in A3 are the phase demons. I'm not fully in control in those fights due to them constantly teleporting, not to mention they are naturally fast, with fast attack animation and naturally hard hitting. I've met phase demon packs with teleport a few times. Once I just got the fuck out of there instantly due to it being the first pack I met in a game. I don't do many zones where they are though, only Crater lvl 3 for the 1-3 NV buffs. In A3 I do Crater 3 for buffs > stonefort for the warden kill (he drops more loot and is super easy to kill). Then I go fields and crater 1 & 2 (the craters are generally very easy). I sometimes do keep lvl 1 and 3 too. 3 often has 2-3 packs and is wise to use if crater 3 disappoints. I never step into keep lvl 2. Those exploding bastards are too dangerous, but the exp there sure is tempting, luls. Never going to step into A4 even though I've killed Azmodan.

I know the mobs suck balls in A1 compared to other acts. Next time I resume I might consider upping to MP1 and doing A1, but it's honestly a real drag. A1 is such slow exp compared to A3.
