Won't matter about his grudge if he can't stay upright long enough, or his defense can't stop the run. I'd feel better if Alex Smith was starting though.

No Justin Smith or a hobbled Justin Smith. Either way, the SF defense isn't the same, and was overrated to begin with. Besides, this is Aaron Rogers we're talking about, one of the best QB's in the league. His line has been the same all year and he's still been dominant. Not to mention that he holds a grudge, rooted for the Niners as a kid, who past on him with the number one pick, and has never been shy about how mad that made him. San Fransisco is not that good of a team, no matter who is quarterback. Green Bay should win.

He just comes off as incredibly phony. Oh yes, recruitment violations we don't know about . No, I know about the Reggie Bush incident and it was unfortunate, however he ran when the shit hit the fan, abandoning his recruits. I guess it's more about College football in general, but it's the perfect representation of everything wrong with it.

I've never felt like he was phoney. I like that he doesn't pretend to be the stereotypical football coach. Were recruiting violations even alleged?

Well, we need someone since Reynolds left. Not sure if what we have to offer is better than the Red Sox, who seem interested too.

The Red Sox farm system is totally depleted, they've spent years trading prospects for veterans. They have nothing to trade. Desperate for offense Seattle has the most to trade, and might be willing to part with the most. Since Justin Upton invoked his no trade clause, they might be even more desperate. They won't offer the same package, obviously, but they still might be willing to give up more pitching than the Orioles. I doubt Rizzo is interested in a veteran. He's going to want pitching prospects, to replace the players he traded for Gio and Dernard Span.

Right, but you can't have a playoff game end in a tie for obvious reasons

The game can only end on the first possession if it ends in a TD for either team, or a Safety on defense

cause in the 1st OT...both teams get a shot...that was the"big change"to the rules...

No, both teams get a shot if the team that gets the ball first can't score a TD. It's to prevent a team from winning on a Field Goal without the other team getting a possession.


I don't really care. I do know we beat the Pats this year and the Texans thumped us, so too early to play favorites We have bitchslapped the Pats up in Foxborough before though
