That carpet was unbelievably sticky. I just had socks on, and I consider myself to be a fairly good mover, but I couldn't move to save my life on that indoor carpet.

I hadn't played tennis for a good few months and I didn't have any carpet shoes, so I didn't give it a whirl, but I still tried to run on that stuff and it was pretty difficult without special shoes.
