Agreed. I think everyone knew he dived anyways, there was no reason for him to admit it, just stop. He's been good for Liverpool this season; diving aside, I think he's 2nd on goalscorer's list. He just needs to keep that side of his game out and focus on his football and he'll have a good career at Liverpool. Maybe you'll know this but, did he have similar problems whilst at Ajax or is this only from his time at Liverpool?
Everyone knew he was a serial diver, but if Suarez just stopped diving, everything would go away eventually (well not the bust up between him and Evra). Now, this will be a stain on Suarez's career where everyone will always question every time he hits the grass.
Perhaps Suarez loves controversy, but this is not the sort of attention that you want. Let's say that Suarez is legitimately taken down in the box. How likely is a ref going to be to award a penalty now that he admits to diving, and diving to win a penalty in particular?
