Re: Everything All The Time

Gary: If the Ravens win the AFC Championship, will Ray Lewis crucify himself during the post game speech? Soooloomon.... NOOOOOOOO WEAPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOONS, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WEAPOOOOOOOOONS!!!!!!!!!
This is racism. I didn't hear the same sort of complaint with Tebow's prosthelytizing :bnah

I'm not much for that holy roller stuff myself, but in that moment I really didn't care what he was saying. He probably could have mentioned Xenu and Thetans and I wouldn't have noticed.

There are plenty of reasons, starting with the fact that the Patriots are a better team. Nooooooooooooooo weapons.
It only matters who's better today. That's how it works :gent

No. Ray Ray does not molest children, he eats them. His longevity can be attributed to a fine powder made from grinding the liver, hearts, and brains of Baltimore area children.

Isn't that what RGIII should be doing this offseason? :heh

Tebow was not worth commenting about, nor are there are any Broncos fans here who would actually care. No Weapon was pretty funny though, not quite "can't wait", but pretty close.

The general intensity of his post game speech is worthy of mocking. After working himself up into such a lather for the divisional rounds, actually building a cross and climbing it is the next logical step. Maybe he can ask Sal Palintonio to help with the carpentry. I can't really think of any non-religious imagery to match his intensity level. Nothing humorous, at least.

I suppose. Are you saying I should take the points?

It seems like an SNL skit :lmao

I think you'd be stupid not to.

Re: Everything All The Time

No thanks. The Pats are pretty heavily favored, and I don't really trust the Ravens to cover.

What is it? 8.5? I wouldn't trust that in any Conference Championship game really, regardless of who plays.

It's now at 7.5 and what's to trust? The spread isn't a prediction.

That's because people are going hard on the Ravens because the initial spread was ridiculous for a Conference Championship game between these two teams IMO.

And it is and it isn't. Vegas tends to have an uncanny ability to make money, so they know something.

Re: Everything All The Time

The line just reflects betting. Vegas wants the number of bets for and against the spread to be as even as possible. There must have been a lot of early action on New England as soon as soon as Denver lost. The odds of Baltimore losing by a touchdown or less are pretty high, the odds of New England winning by more than a touchdown considerably lower. The NFC Championship has the really strange line, Atlanta giving points at home.

It reflects better after it opens, if it swings a certain way. Guys who run Sportsbooks know what they're doing. So no, it's not necessarily predictive, but it can give you an interesting indication.

And home dogs in the playoffs always scare me.

Who do you want to win: Falcons or 49ers?
Eh...i would rather play the Falcons, but the idea of a possible Harbaugh Super Bowl is a pretty interesting story.

49ers...but they got the ball back on a questionable call. Should have been a penalty IMO...

Anyways, next game in 20 mins

Well, it didn't help that Matt Ryan turned the ball over twice
