Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

I am starting to think i really am the insane doctor. Based on what had happened so far,i considered most likely the chances of me being the naive one more probable than me being the insane one, because honestly i thought the Mafia had went for Evil and not for xi0. If we think about it, why would they go for xi0, whose role was know, and not go for evil, which role before being mason wasn't know? I thought the mafia had gambled on that, or they had concrete ideas about what evil really was.
So that's why i always thought there was the possibility of faust being the insane one, cuz i didn't use my role on xi0 that night, while in my theory faust would had been the one doing so.

Anyway, this night i used my role on mido .... there were some chances he could had been the mafia, so if i really was insane, as i think i am now, in case i killed him, we would catch another mafia, and in case we didn't, it wouldn't be a great loss for us. Though at this point without faust online i can't be too sure, if he also used his ability on mido, though i think the chances of faust thinking the same way i did, to not be much probable.

If i was sure i was the insane, this night i would have used my role on Haku, but as things turned out, glad i didn't. I was pretty sure, as sure as Haku, that he would be the one targeted, so if i was the insane one, i would have 50% chance of saving Haku, but as i said before i really thought i am the naive, so i left the role of protecting Haku to faust, which i believed to be the insane one.

Anyway at this point what can be the reasons for the outcome of this night?
- I don't believe Mido was targeted by a Mafia, cuz obviously he was suspicious and he was someone who could still be lynched during day. Unless they thought he could be a sleeper? If that is the case i will start thinking i am the naive, and faust is the insane one, and was the reason Orgz died? But why would he protect Orgz and not Haku? This all sounds weird for me.

-So if Mafia really targeted Orgz, and since i used my role on Mido, and i am not sure anymore about Faust, there's some high chance i was the one that killed Mido, and that Faust has obviously nothing to do with Mido's death. And in that case i would be the insane, and faust is either the naive doctor, or he isn't a doctor at all.

-There might be some other explanations for all this ... i will try to think about them, but these were the ones that popped to my head.

Anyway since i can't cast a vote, again there's not much i can do, apart from giving my insight.

you're doing it wrong
if you are the insane, you don't try to save anyone at night... you try to kill suspects
at this point of the game townies can't afford to lose allies.... especially the confirmed ones

Not so sure about that Moa ... i mean, what you are saying does make sense, but at this point, i think risking to kill someone, who can be either a townie or mafia, is as equally important as protecting someone we know for sure is Townie. I mean if things go well, i think we will be able to decide everything during the day phases.

Anyway as i said, i wasn't sure if i was insane or not, so i opted to do, as you now mentioned to be the best way to play the insane role.

but she sent dd a pm, before the end of the day, telling him that she was reading the thread
Didn't know about that ... maybe Faust did the same? We can actually arise the suspicion that he might be a Mafia, and if he died, it would make the game maybe unbalanced? But at this point, it can be anything.

Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

I'm pretty sure that you are the insane one... if you aren't mafia.
But faust needs to clarify things for us
trying to save people is just too risky at this point it's better to have just one kill per night every night than risking to have have 2 kills for the sake of saving an ally.
but going at mido wasn't a problem, since he still was a suspect

Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

Yeah, that's what i thought. Trusting by his words, if he really was a normal townie there was always the chance of him being a sleeper, in case he wasn't a mafia. So i gambled on that. Now i wonder i faust did the same. Honestly i still can't completely say he isn't the doctor cuz there's a chance he thought the same way i did.
Though when i did this, i thought on the possibility of him doing the same move as me, and still i gambled with the fact that he would try to go for Haku.

At this point with his inactivity, if he really is a doctor, he prolly thinks he is the insane, since there's some chances he hasn't been reading this, and isn't therefore questioning who really is the insane one: me or him.

Anyway at this point the game is getting mind fuck, honestly i am kinda mad, i can't conclude either i am insane or naive. If faust was active it would all so much simpler. I just find it weird, though of course possible, that there's 3 doctors, and on the other hand there are roles who are not even being used. I mean it doesn't mean anything, since it's not like we are all the same type of doctor, but it's weird.

Anyway how many Mafia are left anyway? 1 or 2? And do all games need to have a Mafia Boss?

Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

Let's get one thing straight. Mafia had no reason to go kill Mido. We all suspected him, so, why would they kill a widely suspected Townie when there was a good chance he would get killed in the next day? Honestly, there wasn't a good reason for them to do so. Moreover, he never claimed to have a role, and we still had masons and a Sickly Townie to go for a kill.
If jorped is honest with using his skill over Mido, he should be the Insane Doctor who killed Mido. Either way, I believe either Faust or jorped got Mido's head last night.
Regarding the Insane Doctor skill usage; I don't know. jorped apparently took a gamble. Not sure if I would do that, but that's another issue. It's not a total blunder. There is still a chance jorped was naive and Faust was insane. That way, both gets cleared. If jorped is insane, that doesn't clear Faust's name, though. But that tells us something valuable. If there are two remaining Mafia members, these two aren't Mafia together, which confirms my earlier evaluation: Either only one of them is lying or they are both telling the truth.

Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

22 players would mean 5 mafia members, but we had a third party.
so far it has been 3 mafias, 1 mentor and 1 sleeper. I could be being too optimistic, but I think that are only one mafia left.
Working with that theory, I don't think that the game is being mind fucking right now.... I'm 90% sure of who is the lasting mafia, but I don't want to jump the gun before faust post

Doesn't matter much If you're the naive or the insane one... you just have to act like the insane at night, the naive is useless and his actions make no difference

if they're both mafia... it would be a good plan. Both claims the same role, one contradict or confirm the other and if we nail one of them the other is "clear"

As i mentioned on my first post on this day phase, the only reason i can see for Mafia going for Mido is the fact that Mido could had been a sleeper. If i am not mistaken there's the Macaco dude, that was the sleeper, so the chances of there being another sleeper was not really that high at all to start with, so i have to agree it doesn't make much sense for Mafia to go for him. So as i already mentioned, i am pretty sure it was me or Faust that killed him. What i can't understand, until we see Faust speaking about himself, is if he thought the same way i did. If he did, one of us is insane the other isn't.

LOL, no. If we were both Mafia how would there be 2 deaths during night phase? Unless Mafia has a Poisoner,it would be almost impossible since first night they failed to get someone. We know that lawl was blocked by xi0 ... unless Imp saved the target of the Mafia Poisoner ..... but at this point, honestly it would be the best and luckiest play ever. Cuz none of us had any information that would point to the fact there wasn't any doctor around apart from Imp. If Mafia really have a poisoner, i don't believe they also have a detective, right? Anyway i asked this once, but no one answered. Mafia needs to have a boss on all games? I mean at this point we are sure there aren't more than 2 Mafia, so the only chance any similar situation like this could be pulled off, is Mafia has a poisoner and a detective on their side.

Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

I didn't say that you're both mafia. I was arguing about the strategy that could be used.
But I know that we have to have an insane doctor, since 2 people are dying at night
like I said before, I don't believe that we have poisoners

---------- Post added at 08:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:11 PM ----------

I don't know if mafia needs to have a boss, I'm a newbie as much as you. That's my second game, the last one was ages ago and I didn't last long

but I believe that they don't need to have one

I don't think it's a plausible thing to expect two Sleepers. Maybe there is a Mafia Poisoner, but chances that two more Mafia are remaining the game are rather slim (assuming there has to be a Mafia Boss). So, the most likely scenario is the Insane Doctor.
Moa, it's a good strategy to clear your name, but everybody has held a fair share of suspect for these two since the beginning. If they planned this out, this is a bad move, since, at this point, they can't completely clear their name no matter what happens.

---------- Post added at 04:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:17 PM ----------

In other words, considering the other options, these two are the most likely to be lynched in successive days, anyway. If they led such a strategy, it is about to backfire.

Well, then, there are still three people yet to talk. In fact, Faust hasn't had a word for a long, long time.
I'll finalize my decision after hearing them out. For the time being, I don't think we can make a move with what we have at the hand.

Honestly, regarding me and faust there's not much we can talk, at least until he comes and says anything to defend himself.
Anyway you did mention the case of both of us being telling the truth, if that is the case, who could be behind all this? We know you are a townie, that's a given, the same goes for Haku. And Farfalla is also pretty much a given, since the sickly role is being played by someone, and that someone has to be her. So, we would have Charlie/Niichan left ... any ideas how they could do this?

Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

jorped, there are two scenarios in that case:
1) Charlie is the Mafia Mason.
2) niichan is a Mafia.

Let's just hope it's not the second scenario, since we can't provide any proof to vote for niichan.

Re: MAFIA GAME 22 DEATH NOTE DAY 6!

First: Sorry, Jorp. I had 5 mins to act this morning, didn't have the time to think about my options. But in the end you killed my boyfriend. I told you he was innocent, he wouldn't gamble on League of Legends, you should know this better than anyone u.u Bitch.

Second: I really doubt that Charlie is mafia now. As I said before, I doubt that DD would use 5 mafias in a game with a killing third party and a sleeper (I dunno if there was others 'cause I dunno some masons previous roles). I trully believe that there's only the mafia boss out there, and I think that a mafia mason can't be the boss, so I'm crossing Charlie out of the suspects list.

Third: I'm starting to agree with Orgz that Faust just wanted to be too sure that we'd get his doctors lead. Before Evil said that we got it already, he kept insisting on it. Now I also think that he decided to kill GB kinda out of the blue. He suddenly came here and said: hey guys, is anyone against asking the Vigilante to kill GB? People said they'd gladly do it, so it happened. But since I think it was a bit too drastic for FAUST to suggest that (I could see that coming from other people, though), I think that maybe they talked about that during the night phase and agreed that it would work as a good cover. Also, he was insisting that his night actions were on Niichii. I think that Gary blocked GB during the first night but that also, by coincidence, they went for Niichii, since he did a great job during the first day (one of the hardest days to play, and he did an accurate reading). He was a threat, he didn't die, they thought about the bulletproof thing. By claiming to be a doctor that went only for the bulletproof, he'd be able to claim any sanity in the future, just in case other(s) doctor(s) would find out about theirs. He could be either sane, insane or naive in those conditions, what's pretty convenient. So that's my opinion o/

I HOPE YOU DIE, FAUST Ò.Ó THAT'S FOR RUINING THE GAME WHEN I WAS MAFIA! U.U

fuck... I'm losing my patience.. hehehe
Charlie being a mafia mason... and it's what I'm more inclined to believe. The thing is, you could be lying and faust can expose that. Or you can be telling the truth and faust being a mafia can corroborate to "clear" both of you
he needs to show up today, otherwise he should be host killed... since don't showing up 2 straight days is preposterous
