I came to this series thanks to his voice actor. Then I began to like him with his calm and rather lonely aura. I like friendship between him and Inui; it's natural with no hatred after their bitter reunion.

His tsundereness... or maybe I just weak to mushroom-like head type. And his arrogant voice.

Special mention to: Momo and Chitose (just because of his clothes)

Aaaand I'm gonna change mine.

1) Atobe (his match against Sanada in PoT made him look too badass, and he's this series main character lol).
2) Kirihara (come on Konomi, I know that you'll bring the anti-Echizen back... some day).
3) Kikumaru (meh I can't hate the guy at all, he's too cheerful. I like his anime version better though).
4) Lucky Sengoku (... I'm sure this doesn't surprise anyone. Come on dude get Irie's spot).
5) Niou (he's a smartass that can become anyone, how could I not like him).
6) Shiraishi (although I didn't like the "oh Kirihara your hair is lovely" thing, he's still Shiraishi lol).
7) Ryoga (he's badass, enough said).
8) Tachibana (I really liked him in PoT, it's sucha pity that he lost to Chitose -but hey, he needed some development to be a decent rival for Tezuka- I hope we see more of him in SPoT).
9) Ibu (every single line of his in PoT made me laugh, he's just great).
10) Momoshiro-Marui (I'm not sure here... so yeah, both of them).

David and Jirou are out of the list until they become something more than "yeah, those Kanto players" (I know, they'll never be that) and I really like Mouri but he's completely fodder material. And Sanada is badass but he's too "inhuman" (like Tezuka)

Lol, I didn't notice you had him in your list (In the same spot as me ).

The guy is really, really funny, it's such a pity that he'll never get a decent upgrade (cause he's basically a weak Yukimura) so he's lost in the shadows.

Who are your favourite POT characters?

There were a lot of arguments going on about rankings, who was better, who's got more potential, things like that.
So in a more lighthearted manner, I thought I'd ask who everyone would pick as their favourite characters?

There's no limit to the number you can pick, you don't have to give an order, it's just a chance to admire how genuinely awesome some of the characters are.




I'll start - my favourite is Kikamura, but below him I'd have to say Niou, Fuji and Atobe.

I wish Kikamura was paired up with someone more interesting than Oichi

my favorite players:
1. Fuji --> he's a nice kid. less screen time in NPOT but i'm OK. (NPOT anime looks ugly compared to National & Original Anime)
2. Marui - i like his genius volley
3. Chitose --> his hair helped him in my rank.
4. Kikumaru
5. Yuuta - i think he's a late bloomer. maybe he'll get better in tennis at 3rd Year
6. Azawa
7. Yuushi - thanks to his seiyu
8. Momoshiro
9. Saeki
10. Other Seigaku players.

Hahahah. sorry it's Akazawa from St. Rudolph.
a forgotten bro but i still like him.
I personally think his tennis skills should be around Rikkai level (during Prefecture) but because of screen time limitation, we never see him playing single.

If Yuuta play for Seigaku in 3rd year, i wonder how would it be to be along Kaidoh & Momoshiro.
It should be a great story.

Lmao, no, there's no way he's around Rikkai level (they were said to be as strong as Tezuka ffs ). But around Sengoku / Davide (and other forgotten bros, like Saeki), yeah, probably. It's not like being the best in St. Rudolph means a lot... but he was still the best

I believe that Konomi, somehow (at least in just some random pictures), will tell us what happens with everyone a year after PoT.

yeah. all rikkai is at Tezuka level. maybe i've overrated akazawa. but he's still worth to be at #6 in my list.
ahhh. davide... i forgot about him. his hair is very nice. he's the unique
well i can't understand why other POT characters dont get his jokes. i think the jokes are funny.
