does anyone get a 'good' picture as to how the plot is progressing into? Does anyone know about all
the historical references being used here? I really want to make sense of any of these, really x D

By Audrey, does Naoki means Audrey Hepburn? Like a hidden bloodline or just a hidden name of Disney's daughter's name...?
Or, all of the historical references are meant to be distorted?

Is Naoki creating a plotline where the American did went to the moon, but they don't have a video to show case it and so,
created another video artifically ---... which happened to have someone/something drew the Billy Bat mark on the stage
(which ties back to the earlier chapter when the Japanese were trying to explain to origin of the Bat mark to Kevin?)??

Is the new Kevin meant to be Michael Jackson, with the "Out of the Wall" reference?
Walt Disney? Consensus control? Class genocide? Extremist ideology? World dominance?

It's revising history actually, conspiracy theories everywhere, although it is mixing reality and fantasy a lot, it's taking some conspiracies and twisting them in a cartoonish level, odd that these dozen chapters were released and then a new hiatus. I guess this is a small transitory arc as well.

It's not "odd" they said specifically that they would be doing that. They decided people preferred weekly serialization with hiatuses rather than biweekly serialization, based on readers reactions and how hard you had to follow the plot.

The plot is already hard to follow as it is, but I just enjoy the ride for the most part, it seems Urasawa is taking me back with all of the flashbacks and stuff to earlier things that we read in the manga. Oh well, I am looking forward for a another dozen chapters after the hiatus.

So far:

Kevin Yamagata was meant to SAVE Kevin Goodman in order to continue the line of special people that can see the Bat.
Hitler basically started much of what went down with Kevin Yamagata and what is going on now. It seems he is initiating all that went down after the war.
History is already re-written and messed up. The goal of the chosen people is to take it back on track.
We cold be mindfucked into thinking that Urasawa does not even think that our own history is genuine, that means a fictional hero has to come and save it.
BLEND REALITY AND FICTION AT THE END, LEAVE A CLIFFHANGER.

This is a really wonderful manga. I just read all the chapters in the last week , and I'm so happy with it. I specially liked the arc about Kanbei and the ninjas in the bamboo jungle. Also I feel kind of sad when seing how Kevin Yamagata was shoot. I wonder if he's still alive. I also enjoyed the possibility to travel to the past and to change the future and the fact that those posibilities reside in an ancient scroll. That just blowed my mind. Pretty nice. I wonder when we will have the next release. So I would appreciate if someone can tell me about it.
