I've even dl'ed the game. Then I realized the free heroes nuno talked about were not something they give you every week, just rotation :/

Dota on the other hand - already all heroes free =3

yeah but don't you have to pay for items or some nonsense? It's easy to earn IP quickly, so you can pretty much buy whoever you want eventually. Play with us.

Nah, the only thing you can buy is visual stuff, like new costumes or a courier form. Basically nothing important.

Yeah I know, it's just that I am tired of grinding all the time

Just sign up and see if you like it. There's already around a dozen of us playing on EU West. You can power level too reach 30 if you want.

I am already signed in. Played a hero that actually seemed pretty awesome, had to pause for a week because of studies and when I came back I was dissapointed that I had to grind some more to get it Well, unlike you guys I actually don't have any problems with other MOBAs and see the fun of them all so I'll definitely check it out later =)

that said, can any of you remmeber the name of that single player FPS game that's from a popular franchise that came out not so long ago - it looked awesome but I can't remember what it was. You start in what seems to be the 1800's on a small boat with what seems to be a noble woman who's giving you instructions.

It's not about being against other MOBAs, but LoL being free to play makes it more accessible.

All of them are free to play.

Well, technically dota is free to play but still in beta so you need invites, but they pretty much give invites all the time to people who already have it, making it available to everyone.

Hmm, I can't even remember, it was a guy who had a weapon and could spin. It's already been weeks ever since I played LoL (incidentally the last game I played before I wen't yolo studying no gaming mode)

Dunno. All I remember was playing another hero that could teleport to all teammates around the maps, and another hero that was a monkey king. Pretty sure I can check it on my account anyway...

No, it is. After what happened to LoL no company in their right mind would make a moba non-free. It's just a beta so it's "limited" access but not really. If you have me/blai/nuno or anyone with Dota2 and even want/care you can easily get a copy.

However in Southeast Asia it's a whole different matter

Just wikid that Renekton guy and definitely not him, didn't even bother choosing him. Probably Garen.

And I hate how LoL bots work. I still haven't had the chance of trying out against hard ones since you can't offline/solo and the normal ones suck...

However, I like the whole not all heroes use mana system - only original thing about LoL I like (not so much the summoner, that's horrid imo)

Well, I say "we" loosely. I guess I'm technically a part of the team but more of a bench player, plus I haven't even played ranked with them yet

Don't play against Bots then. The people you play at really early levels are even worse than bots, and as soon as you win some matches your MMR goes up and you play better competition.

Yeah, when I first started playing I hate playing characters with Mana, but you get used to it. Why don't you like Summoner spells?

Summoners are too much of a hassle xD In Dota2 it's all about the characters themselves, no need to think about extra skills and stuff to level up beside the hero.

And mana on hero is what I'm pretty much used to from Dota2 / small bit of HoN. I just find the other part refreshing, is all.

Yeah but there are a standard 4-5 skills that are always used and the rest are useless really. It's not a hassle, it's a nice added dimension .

Thanks, sir Couldn't answer it yet because I was mostly away the last few days. Only hanging out with friends and girlfriend but it was great to relax and finally do nothing for a few days.
