Tonkam (the french editor which has the rights) has been searching for a translator willing to adapt the serie for god knows how many months (or that is their excuse to delay a serie which will certainly not sell very well). Even if Manga Editor translators tends to not make a big work in term of adaptation, it's probably not an easy serie to translate.

Well that'd make sense. After all, it's about stand-up comedy. How do you even begin to make the jokes translate to an international audience without losing something. oof, maybe I'm doomed to just vaguely reading the tanks (missing out like half the words because kanji without furigana is hellish)

I found Tokyo Ghoul and Terra Formars are really best action series that I have ever seen out of like past two years; hack, those are much better than most of shounen action series.

I wished I would have followed those two series more earlier.

Read Tokyo Ghould recently, it's indeed pretty great. Nothing is better than Kingdom, but this line-up is certainly better than Shonen Jump's.

I found Tokyo Ghoul and Terra Formars are really best action series that I have ever seen out of like past two years; hack, those are much better than most of shounen action series.

I wished I would have followed those two series more earlier.

Indeed, both deserve more attention. Well at least Terra Formars gets volume scans and translations but I've followed Tokyo Ghoul since chapter 1 and since then the group released like 10 chapters If I'm not mistaken it's around chapter 80/90 or so in Japan, and the scans only are up to chapter 12. Both Terra Formars and Tokyo Ghoul do pretty well in Japan, I was really happy to see that TG's sales got better and better. Guess I can only pray for an anime to be released, that usually pushes Edited Mangas pretty hard.

Only up to chapter 12? The real fun for that series start after that; that's too bad.

Weekly Young Jump Issue 38 Cover

Also, to celebrate the release of the volume 1 of Kamen Teacher Black and the volume 4 of I no Head Gargoyle (series from Weekly Young Magazine) on the same day, those two series going to have a special collaboration chapter, called Kamen Teacher VS Police. This chapter is divided into two parts; the first part will be release on Issue 38 of Young Jump and the second part going to release on Issue 39 of Young Magazine.

Though really I should be reading way more Young + Grand Jump stuff nowadays, the more i peek into the two mags the more it's totally pulling me in. I must finally be transitioning more towards seinen or something.

For me, Grand Jump isn't exactly my type; I prefer Young Jump.

That is probably the most accurate way of describing Nakayama's art I have ever read. Good show sir. Good show. I've been sorta making the Shonen--->Seinen jump myself, though I still love me some Shounen Sunday. I think I'm just transitioning away from WSJ...I only really read Gintama and One piece in there now, and One piece is a sort of 'Eh, I'm bored and have 20 seconds to kill on a raw so...' type thing. Gintama is something I translate despite having a serious love hate relationship with Sorachi and his love of text.

But yes. Read Kagyuu. There are three chapters scantlated and I've translated 50 of them. I'm gonna try to clean up volume six really fast and then get to seven so I feel the impetuous to buy 9-11 which my collection sorely is missing.

Well, One Punch-man is serializing in Tonari no Young Jump (Young Jump's online releasing site), so I think OPM should be consider as one of Young Jump series.

I'm so early in to most comics (and I'm waiting for the tankobon for Ryu Fujisaki's new series), so it's like... oof, but still, I'm getting there. Or as there as I'll get with my terrible reading ability.

Oh and from Tonari I'm reading viz's One Punch-Man releases, and check out Yumi Hotta's Hajiman on a regular basis.

Grand Slam's the next series I wanna get in on, being a sports comic. And Real, of course.

I'm reading Liar Game (assuming it ever comes back from hiatus) and Terra ForMars (5 volumes in). I've tried a few other series, like Kingdom, 81 Diver, and Minamoto-kun Monogatari, but none of them really kept me that interested. Probably gonna check out Zetman and Destroy and Revolution when/if I get a chance.

One Punch-Man is the only series I read from Tonari, but I'm not sure if I'd even consider it a Young Jump series because the tankobons are published under the Jump Comics imprint instead of Young Jump Comics for whatever reason. It even adds furigana, so I can actually read most of it...
