Yeah.... Let's not do that. I have enough trouble getting out of the FF, let alone get into an actual manga/anime sub-forum,

.
I don't know what your MAL is. I think..
Check mine, I've watched and read a lot. I've steadily been watching Detective Conan ever since I started it, I binge-watched the first 80 episodes years ago, then 81-152 and from then on I watched mostly case by case, I stopped around episode 700, but I plan on continuing watching if I feel like it.. Besides that, it's just Silver Spoon and Digimon Savers.
Even outside anime I'm not watching much, I binge-watched Suits and outside of that it's just the regular sitcoms and shows that are already going on for ages.
And I love Digimon! I always did, the first season, which everyone knows, and Digimon Tamers (the 3rd) are my favorites. A lot of people hate on the 3-6 seasons because it isn't like the first or second one. But they changed a lot in the second one too. The third one involves the card game, they can combine cards with Digivolves and attacks, which might sound shit at first. But that's definitely my favorite season (1st is a very, very, very, very close second). Digimon Frontiers (the 4rd) is where the Digi-Destined kids fuse with their Digimon counterparts, this season is a bit more average, but has some better action sometimes, the fusions with their Digimon was a nice switch.
The 6th season, the one I'm re-watching now, Digimon Savers, has been the less so far in concept. It involves the kids actually fighting Digimon themselves too, this raises courage and let's their Digimon evolve. Which I found awkward and not to work, it did, but.. it doesn't for me. In the second or third episode, Masara (the main) jumps of a building to hit a giant Kokatorimon in the face, then his Agumon digivolves.. it works in the show, but it's so over the top.. I don't know. It even gets more over-the-top when they head into Digiworld.
The last one is the current on-going series, Digimon Xros Wars, from which I only saw 17 episodes. But every Digimon basically is a mecha-something now and that really turned me off, the main's digimon is very irritating and so is a lot of the main cast, but it actually has 3 seasons already.. It's doing very well for the kids, while the other shows served teens (and somewhat adults) well too, this one certainly doesn't... Not even sure if I'll try to continue that.
I usually try to avoid recommendations, I get a lot of people who don't know shit about anime and it's always the same, Haruhi, Death Note, Sword Art Online, Naruto, Bleach and Shingeki. Those are the ones I get all the time and I'm sick of it, I prefer rec's from people online, mostly of you guys, since most of you also know what I like, I guess, I think. But most of the times I'm like, fuck you, I read what I want to read, haha.
What's your BBT ratio then? I was in the danger zone a couple of times, I just downloaded some popular stuff to fix my ratio and tadaa, I had 1.8 ratio once, but ever since I'm on 0.7/8. But it's still in the 'green zone'. So fuck yeah.
And you should definitely watch the Kenshin OVAs! Have you ever seen the regular series? Kenshin's Tsuiokuhen (Trust and Betrayal) is my all-time favorite piece of anime. It's also the piece that actually introduced me to 'Japanese cartoons' years before I knew what 'anime' was, haha. I saw it as a little kid when I wasn't supposed to, I snuck out downstairs when it aired, it was 16+, I was 10 or so, I wasn't allowed too. And it was the best two hours of my life. All that action, all that blood! I sat there in awe. It took me about 10 years to find it again, since it went lost in my memories, but when I started reading the Kenshin manga it always, somewhat, felt familiar. I've watched it at least 20 times by now.. It's a masterpiece for sure.
And if you got high numbers it's definitely better to read arc by arc. I did it with Ippo, back then it had around 600ch, I binge-read at first, but the closer I got to getting up2date, the less I started to read. First match-by-match. Then match/inbetween/match/etc. The same with Conan (which had around 600 too). I binge-read a lot and then I just read case by case. Which was super chill, because cases vary from 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 chapters with most of them just 1-2-3.
The same goes for InuYasha, I just read by 'cases' which vary from 2-10 chapters.
What anime are you watching then? And I didn't know the first episode already aired, I'm very curious about it though, it has a lot more episodes than the first season right?
Are you looking forward to more new series, or you don't really care?
