Heya. Found a thread at last to do some sort of formal introduction. Thank goodness...

To start this of, AshCandyPop is moi as you see in my username. I have posted in one thread how I came up with the name so I will not be saying it here to reduce redundancy but anyways you can call me either Ash or Ashley. As far as comics go, I grew up reading local (Filipino) comic books which progressed to Western colored comics. Only lately did I start reading mangas and manwhas. How I started reading mangas and who influenced me? That'll be my big brother.

I am a self-confessed gal with a brother-complex and being so, I guess I should not be saying this already but I still will, I have to be into things he love so I can have long talks with him. Lately he's been very obsessed with The Breaker and I spent three weekends just to be up to date with it. Lol. Other mangas I've read are Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail and Kaichu wa Maid.

So yeah that's it! Hello guys!

I moved your post to a new thread, I guess you didn't know how to start new threads.

It's really nice to be siblings that can get along very well with each other, I hope you really enjoy reading manga/manhwa and don't do it just for your brother's sake. Is your brother a member of our forum too? If it's not a secret of course.

Yep, Naruto is that bad recently.

Even if a manga goes bad, most people still read it if they have come this far though.

I still do read them Miyagi. Among mangas, I'll probably go with Bleach. The author is good at twisting things plus Bleach has cool, badass, mean-looking, bad boy-good guys, if you get what I mean lol. But I have to say that I like Bleach best only up to the Aizen arc.

Naruto is also good but I had enough of the hero-and-friends cliché where the hero is so ideal that he'll do anything for his friends wherein dying friends do not matter since they keep being revived at the end anyways, but hey I guess that goes with most shounen --just saying.

One Piece is soooo wierd it is so fun to read! I love reading it but I can live without it.

Fairy Tail is also good but the last release dismayed me. Too many fan service. I hope the author doesn't go down the same path as HSDK.

In manwhas my favorite is The Breaker. In Shoujo, I do not really read 'coz I prefer watching them. I get all giggly watching it which I don't experience when I read them but I love Kaichu wa so much that I started reading the manga.

@Gnut: I only read Breaker lol. May be when I get immersed to reading manwhas I'll start looking for others to read.

I like you already, I used to mod Bleach section, it's my favorite too.

I agree that it somewhat lost its charm after Aizen arc but I can't say this new arc is bad. The fullbring arc ruined it for most people.

I guess your favorite character is Gin? It may be one of the reasons why you didn't like the new arcs that follow Gin's death as much.

Lol Abarai and Ikkaku. And yeah this new one isn't bad at all. First time I saw Juha(?!?) he somehow look familiar. Then after revealing that thing about oldman Zangetsu I was... *kyaaaaaaaa <3* surprises surprises. I soooo love them.

Ikkaku is at the top of my Bleach list. If only he is tanned/dark skinned I'll drool over him.

I have weird tastes probably lol. I always have trouble sleeping, body clock wnet haywire due to shifting work hours.


@Charlie: rofl. My mind's Ikkaku is much more handsome and manly than that but I really wish he doesn't dance like that.
