Looking awesome Kagyuu-chan. Though when will they give you an anime like you really deserve...? Or at least a VOMIC.

I think it is very difficult for Kagyuu to get an anime; but, not sure about vomic (Young Jump has other series which deserve vomic more than Kagyuu).

See, the only Young Jump series I *really* want them to get are too weird or too long to license (being Beshari, Kingdom and 81 Diver), so I'm not holding my breath.

Dude, if VIZ licensed Beshari and Kingdom, I would literally get a second job to make sure I could have them the second they came out. WHY DON'T WE HAVE ANY MANGA BY MASANORI MORITA IN THE UNITED STATES?!!!!!!

Morita's problematic, between niche subject/translation issues (beshari) and overlong titles (Rokudenashi and ROOKIES). But even with that in mind, it's criminal we haven't gotten anything. I'm sure some mad company could swing ROOKIES, if there's any justice in the world

Well, they can release the vomic just before the anime starts, like Medaka Box.

I'm not sure if it is good idea to translate manzai into English. Even it translated in English, I'm not sure if the western audience going to found manzai funny.

See, my thing is that they keep pimping Nejimaki constantly with color pages and promotions, yet it still doesn't get a Vomic or anime. I'd be fine with it quietly existing if they didn't promote it or anything (as pretty much all of the manga I like just quietly exist until they get cancelled), but there has to be some reason for them to keep promoting it other than 'Oh the editors really like this story'. It ended up in Kono manga as well! That's why I'm baffled as to why it gets a bunch of promotion but not even a Vomic.

I do agree with Kaizou though, I think an anime would be pretty hard to do of the series unless Trigger does it or something. Their current series is pretty similar to Nejimaki Kagyuu anyway. It's called kill la kill or something right? I watched the first one and got serious Nejimaki vibes from it.

Kokou no Hito had a lot of color pages and promotions. It also got the next-to-top prize in the Manga Cultural Award. That did manage to have a Vomic though.

Generally, YJ only does color pages when a volume of something comes out.

That does seem to be the trend, yeah. But it's also getting a special chapter in jump seed. Again I don't think they'd give something a special chapter in another mag if the regular serial is doing poorly.

I essentially agree. Stuff like Kurokuroku or the couple of translated chapters of Beshari kinda lose something/everything in translation with the manzai stuff. Still, a man can but dream.

Well, I think Kagyuu isn't doing too bad not but not good either. It is kind of neutral state, but I think possibly hit the limit of its popularity.

Also I'm reading only the Edited Manga and can't figure out why this series couldn't get a anime. The art maybe is quite unique and the story isn't sooo typical, but nothing to outside the normal. We have action, romance and such stuff. I don't see a problem with the content at all, because there were many animes which seemed more "unmake able" before.. We are talking about Nejimaki Kagyu?
