Is it a serious back or just oneshot/special chapter? IIRC a HxH movie will be released soon and Togashi did only oneshots is his "back" in the last movie.

You know it's going to be a good day when you start it with seeing Bleach in bottom five.

I don't really understand why we should be happy that Bleach is in the bottom 5. Yeah the manga is now a shadow of his former self, but I never understand that rage toward that manga. It was not the first time that a manga fail toward the end and it will not be the last either, the opposite is more rare.

Based on the picture, it does say that it'll resume the serialization and nothing about whether it is special chapter or not.

i guess it will be like always, it'll be resumed and then after a few months it'll enter on hiatus again lol but i really hope it don't occur, though

Haha, true but it depends, Attack on Titan sounds totally stupid to me, while the japanese version could also mean advance/charge/invasion. It's not like the humans are attacking the Saturn moon Titan to retaliate against Thanos. :P

So it's a thing of preference, no problem. A short subtitle with the translated name works most often.

This looks like the same as the nakama discussion. Honestly keeping the japanese because it has more meaning is a false debate since as a non native speaker you are always translating, be it in your head or by the translator. So I rather agree with Maxy for the 'japanese is cooler' opinion.
And again, title and covers have a very big importance when attracting new readers. By keeping the japanese titles you put a barrier which is kind of ridiculous. My example of mangaupdate is perfect for that. I won't click every titles to read the resume and see if it can interest me.

Oh well i'm getting off topic and it is a lost cause.

Cooler or not, Attack on Titan sounds dumb and doesn't represent the manga to me. Other translations would be preferable, as japanese->english translations by japanese people often end up worse than what a non native japanese would chose.

While the nakama isn't a proper name, everyone knows what it's supposed to mean. Should translators stop using shokugeki or any of those named attacks in fighting manga?

It's almost always near or in the bottom 5, so don't take those comments seriously.

"This guy" is the editor-in-chief, he's at the top for a reason and therefore he has the power to decide. I would rather question who this ForneverWorld is to think his opinion is worth anywhere near that of Sasaki back than and whoever has that position now...

General YouTube audience has very little knowledge and IQ from my experiences. Those four are mainstream manga's, AC is still relatively unknown and Kuroko has yet to become mainstream, if it even gets that far (outside of Japan).

For intelligent, good sourced talks about manga, don't visit the comment section in YouTube, lol.

Here in Brazil we had a little discussion about the foreign name of "Shingeki no Kyojin". Panini will release this month the manga with the name "Ataque dos Titãs" (something like "Attack of the Titan" or "Titan's Attack"). Some people here have argued about the english name, but the publisher tried to explain that is an incorrect translation, and because of it we will have the japanese > portuguese translation.

I really don't understand "Attack on Titan". Seems like a spoiler, if you know what I mean. hahaha

(The matter is some people don't understand it here, but it's another story).

My theory with Attack on Titan is that it's a hidden meaning that will eventually become clear waaay at the end of the series. Like why Konjiki no Gash!! had Konjiki in the name. I bet at the end they attack Saturn's moon of Titan.

Also, awesome, HXH is coming back. It's weird how it always seems the announcements get smaller and smaller every time. I remember back in 2007 it was like "The long awaited series is finally back after 2 years! Tons of color pages and the cover and shit!" Then every time the announcement got smaller and smaller. We found out last time because it was on some sorta advertisement I think next to the announcement of the anime I think... Now it's like on the bottom of an ad for the movie. Regardless, big event! Togashi is writing his first truly new arc in like 12 years...

I always figured it was sorta like how they used to announce how many chapters the serialization would be. Then they sorta stopped doing that too. I think they're trying to delude themselves into believing that Togashi will do a regular serial. It's sorta like 'Yeah you could be excited for the return, but you know it's never going to be a normal serialization again. So we'll just announce it quietly since most people associate a return with the hiatus anyway. It's like a buy one get one free deal, just that the second item is literally of lesser value.

I still have an unhealthly fondness for this series though so I'll strap on my leather and learn the safe word. (It's Hiatus) Oooooh yeaah. Welcome back HXH.

I just find it funny that Togashi is returning right after the guy who's been accused of having his sickness (Fukuchi). 2013 has been a good year for BDR. A good year indeed.

It says serialization restarts, beginning in December.

I think a lot of the reason for the hiatus has to do with just figuring out how to manage all the characters and make the plot just how he wanted it. Plus all that family stuff we know barely anything about. Maybe now that he's onto a new arc he's probably had plenty of time to think over, the series will last longer before going on hiatus.

Crazy, Berserk and HXH are gonna be running at the same time.
