This year's 50th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Tsunayoshi Sawada (with Reborn!) from Akira Amano's Katekyo Hitman Reborn! manga and Tatsumi Oga (with Beelzebub) from Ryūhei Tamura's Beelzebub manga are joining the lineup of Namco Bandai Games' J-Stars Victory Vs. "team battle action" video game as playable fighters. In addition, Kagura (and Sadaharu) from Hideaki Sorachi's Gintama manga will also join the game as a support character.
Specifically, each of the new characters introduced will join forces with their respective sidekick to defeat their enemies. Tsunayoshi will perform the X Burner attack with Reborn!, Oga will throw a sparking Beelzebub at enemies, and Kagura will ride an attacking Sadaharu as support.
so it's possible that it's true the return of hxh?Or the picture for Hxh came from other magazine (like Newtype).
#51 :
One Punch-man - Chapitre Spécial (34p, Color)
Toriko (Absent)
#52 :
Toriko (Lead Color)
The 2nd Hxh Movie was annonced on Mantanweb before Shônen Jump. And other magazine same think was already happen (like Daiya no Ace anime annonced in first in Comic Natalie). It's a little bit odd to have the announce made in other magazine BEFORE doing it in Jump, isn't it? Has it happened before?
I'm not sure. Is other magazine has to announce the information about the resume of series from different publisher?Or the picture for Hxh came from other magazine (like Newtype).
Awesome stuff! I'm thinkin Hilda should be Ogas support and Gokudera (throwing bombs) should be TsunasLooks like Tsuna and Oga are confirmed as playable characters in J-Stars! Now if only we can get support characters for them, that would be great.

While I understand what you're saying, but that is bad writing! Or not so good writing(What you prefer). Nisekoi could be so much better. For an example of a harem-romcon-love comedy progressing in the story while doing what it should for his genre is Yamada and the 7 witches. Nisekoi could be the same, progressing in the Pendant and love relations plot while giving interactions between the boy and the harem. That's not how these type of manga work. The story is not supposed to revolve around a series of sequential events, like an action or sports manga. Those chapters where nothing happen are the point of the story. Fans of the genre pick out a girl to root for, read for the interaction between characters, the jokes, and romantic moments. You are in for nothing but disappointment if you expect the story to advance like One Piece or HQ would. Nisekoi is a harem manga, has been from the beginning. The harem is bound to grow. When Raku does pick a girl, the series is going to end. That's how harem manga work. The truth about the pendant will be the climax of the manga, leading to him picking a girl, bringing the series to an end. There's a formula for these type of things.
I haven't read Nisekoi is at least year. It could suck now, for all I know. From the complaints I have seen, it mostly seems like fans expecting the series to be something it never was. It's a harem manga, expect Nisekoi to follow harem manga genre conventions.

Nisekoi has arcs too! But they are a lot smaller, some of them only have one chapter. In the end every story is divided by arcs. Then, do you expect that rom-com series to have a story which leads to next arc, like the action series?
Talking to some manga fans, it feels as if they have brainwashed to believe there is only one proper style of storytelling. That is probably the fault of one genre, and an extremely formulaic one, dominating fandom for so many years. Taste has become more eclectic over the last couple of years, but there is still a large, vocal, segment of fandom solely dedicated to a single style of action manga. Storytelling conventions taken for granted in other media are dismissed as poor writing when they clash with the conventions of Toriyama style shounen-action. The trouble is that style of shounen-action can be a very conservative genre, with limited variations in storytelling. Even the best of the genre (One Piece, Hunter x Hunter) follow a pre-subscribed formula. Establish a goal (hokage, Pirate King), go on adventures, make friends, overcome adversity, learn a lesson, accomplish goal, the end. Much of the complaints I have seen are an attempt to superimpose those conventions onto Nisekoi. Raku and the quest to find the locket's key, as if finding the girl is comparable to become hokage. It sometimes seems like these particular fans just are not able to imagine any other style of writing a story. The worst part is that the same people would not hold a romance movie or television comedy to the same standard. The same thing that they criticize in manga would be taken for granted. It's part of a broader attempt to marginalize non-action genre. Think about all of the comments about how certain genre's can't be long running (as if 50 volume manga is a good thing). The funny part is the longest running manga are almost always episodic, non-action manga. Look at Kochikame, for example. There were members predicting Nisekoi would be canceled before chapter one was even out. I recall people saying something about Jump not being able to handle very many slice of life manga at a time.I hate this sort of argument but I do like saying this, so I'll say it again.
Nisekoi has developments. Constantly. That is literally how plot works. Just because each chapter isn't life-shattering doesn't mean things aren't happening. I mean... jesus... Come on. Next you'll all be throwing the same argument at Gintama.
Like sure the trappings of shonen romances hold it back at times, but it's not like it's just the characters staring into space each chapter. they change, learn, grow, have developments et cetera.
actually it is not a style created by Toriyama. Its a Quest System, already done by J.R.R. Tolkiens Lord of the Rings and even long before that one. People have one goal, going on a journey and gather members, becoming stronger till the fight/meet their end goal. What people argue about is not that nisekoi doesn't revolves around the pendant, but that it destroys any progression. A charatcer realizes her/his feelings and want to confess them - unexpected conflict that it never happens. - next chapter about something entirely else till mentioned character desire is forgotten by the readers. Nearly every chapter reset the story to its beginning.
