The manga shows him defeated. I don't know what else to say. You're suggesting I'm saying something unusual. But for you to argue as such against something that's been shown, you've got to provide more than this. It simply doesn't make sense for Madara to simply allow Hashirama to bring him down. It would be a great increase in risk without any benefit, whatsoever.
No, the manga showed him being held. Like I pointed out at that time, we have seen a bunch of times a character being held without it resulting in a defeat, like the case of Naruto being held by Hungry Path. In that situation too we saw the one being held not saying anything, but merely thinking before they sprung their counter-trick. Naruto even did the same (.....) thought as Madara.
What you're suggesting is unusual. You're trying to say that the egotistic and megalomaniac Madara would just accept defeat like nothing, with is contrary to not only his personality, but past portrayals too. If he was such a gracious loser, he wouldn't have ran off after not becoming Hokage and came back trying to destroy everything. Anyway, I'm not arguing against what was shown, which is the entire point. In addition to it being shown that Madara wasn't panic or worried about his predicament, it was also shown that he had previously called Black Zetsu to be on hand for the very reason of taking over Obito and it was implied that he had once again taken control of Obito to preform the Rinne Tensei. That's not even pointing out that the way he was being held didn't prevent fighting back as we had seen before. And there wasn't any risk to being brought down by Hashirama as we were shown. Hashirama was incapable of doing anything to Madara, and required outside assistance which still didn't fully help. There would have been more risk attempting to take down Obito, who could have actually killed Madara permanently. At the very worst case, Madara had Black Zetsu on hand to rescue him if he had actually posed a threat.
It required immense effort on Kushina's part. And Obito struggled to do so much with six that were already under his control. This isn't a stretch here. In fact, it's pretty obvious. As for Susanoo, they're just bigger, and thus thicker. That's it. Susanno doesn't change, it remains Susanoo.
And the numbers we saw him take on don't amount to even close to 1/5th of their total forces.
She was near death and did it without missing a blink. Even when just some chakra, she was capable of chaining the Kyuubi without issue. And when did Obito struggle pulling them in? And Susanoo does change, we have literally seen it gain new abilities as it advances.
He took on, as of canon, Gaara's whole division, which was a fifth of the main force.
