That is possible, I don't know why one would put a Naive Det in a game of 12 though. As if there is a Naive one, there probably would also be Sane and Insane. I don't want to believe this.
For me it's not really. I don't have any superpowers. I see the Hider, Prostitute or even the Spy role as much more exciting. With the Detective you can't really do a lot.
I thought that if your target got protected, you'd also be protected. As I said, that was the most likely scenario imo.
