Well hider always has to pick a target, the spy will investigate gnut to see who he targetted if he targeted the guy that died then it proves he is a mafia, if he targetted someone else he is most likely townie. If we have spy ofcourse I repeat again.

A Hider doesn't always have to pick a target. This is all vague what-ifs man, you can't tell the Spy what to do on the first night, if there is one in the first place.
