They don't even have to go for Gary, they can vote for someone else. Niichan+Xadyu+Haku+Leo+Kat are 5, they can prolong the day phase and save niichan (without even voting for Gary) IF they really want to.

I haven't even talked the decision on its own. I just interrupted when you said something like "It's your fault for getting lynched if you are a Townie", when it clearly isn't. Taking out inactive guys is a gamble. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it doesn't. If we are taking the risk and the responsibility, then so be it. I even said "we would be at fault", not "you would be at fault", so, I'm not sure why you interpret my words this way.
