Seems this post is pinned so here are the 2025/26 award predictions that I've received so far! If you haven't sent already then feel free to shoot me your list!

the problem is he want that 6th ring he'll never get. his team is too bad,lot of good team in the west, the coach horrible, the new owner a joke, he's getting old, piling injury and it'll take years to rebuild the Lakers. by that time he'll be a fossil already.

the problem is he's not young anymore. but he have to play like a young one because his team ain't doing shit and the D antoni system. he's not a tim duncan who have great teammate and a coach good enough to know how to deal with old players. it's only normal that his body break.

They definitely are, given his age and injuries. I love Kobe and all, but I'm willing to bet if he played against the Heat at Christmas, the Lakers would have probably lost by more than five points.

Rose is a dumbass for saying he won't change his playing style, since this is the second time he's injured his knee because of the way he plays. I don't see a long career ahead for him if he doesn't take it easy.

Aside from injuries, i pity kevin love. The guy is now a top 10 or even a top 5 nba player but he is playing with the only team without a bench. An added eval of 0 for the whole bench against dallas. And there was also that final fault from marion... Kevin, get out of minneapolis as soon as possible

With Al Horford also out for the season (including playoffs), the more the Pacers-Heat dominance in the East prevails. While competitive teams out west are most probably gonna miss the playoffs because of how stacked the conference is.

How I wish my team can be swapped to the East now.

Speaking of, it sucks to be Kevin Love right now. I really like him, he's very talented (re: outlet passes). His lack of defense is completely overshadowed by his versatile offense. He's easily a top 5 MVP candidate if only for his team's standings.

I'd be pretty surprised if Minneapolis can keep Kevin Love once his contract is done (just don't sign with the Lakers).

As competitive the west is, I think the 8 qualifying team are known. The only surprise is Phoenix ... they took the place I expected for the wolves.
I know the season is still long but there is a real gap now between number 8 & number 9

west is too wild dude, we never know who will get 7th and 8th seed. memphis on the rise and i won't count denver out

how did they beat the Heat and Spurs anyway? They were losing a lot of games, and then went on a winning streak.

Also, awesomely awesome how the Bulls beat the Magic in the third overtime by one point. they'd have probably won without overtime if Deng was still there though.

well knicks finally got outta their slump. they're not a garbage team considering they have Melo so it's was quite unexpected to see them performing that bad since the beginning of the season. I hope they doesnt go back in their slump again cuz the east is too damn boring atm
