I just caught up to the latest chapter today. I had a friend telling me the summary before, but to read it on my own... Congratulations for Kikuchi and Futaba, I guess. Kikuchi is so cute and adorable, really wish they could be happy together. Argh. Kou can enjoy his regrets and defeat for now. I wonder what he'll do afterwards... School trip is always a big thing; usually something important happens when students are outside like this, lol.

Why do I find Narumi's character somehow shallow? As if she doesn't have anything else in her mind but trying to hang on to Kou so bad. Has she never tried to do anything else?

So I've been thinking of picking this up. How is it? Other than KnT, I haven't been able to get into any shoujos lately. Like, how are the characters and that?

I'm the other way around, who hasn't touched KnT's manga. From the anime, well, I'd say AHR has faster pace and dynamic so far compared to KnT because KnT also focused on how Sawako could open herself up more. In AHR it's more about moving on from past wounds, lol, but we'll see if it will really work. XD

I started to read this manga after seeing that it will get an anime. I loved this series, the drawing is amazing and the story is great. I got really annoyed in some chapters but i got over it lol

But i have to say Kikuchi annoys the hell out of me, seriously! And Kou is sooo dumb... thanks god he kicked out that damn Narumi, she's such a bi***! lol

Kikushi is so "forced" (i don't know how to express what i'm thinking haha). He saw Kou and Futaba in the class and then forced Futaba into a situation where she couldn't deny to go out with him. That annoyed me when i was reading the chapter.

I think Futaba will definitely forgive him, she still likes him. Poor Kikuchi will be left out. I can't remember when was the last time I rooted for the support character to win instead of the lead one, haha.

What do you think about Narumi, though? I don't believe she is gone for good. Yet.

I'm uneasy about Narumi, i guess she will come back when Kou and Futaba start dating in a way to make them break up...

You know, I'm beginning to like Kikuchi. I mean, he may be boring for now, but he's gaining sex appeal by the chapter- those whispers by the ear, the close proximity he keeps with Futaba but not actually being too touchy... he's such a tease it's so hot

On the other hand, I didn't expect that from Kou! Coz he has always been such a wuss... but wow, what development! I can't wait!

Technically speaking, Kikuchi-kun will get dumped because the female lead will have to go with the male lead of the series, no?

I guess Kou is kind of cornered, he lost one thing and let go of other, so now he had nothing to lose, and he went all out.

well it's not like I hated Kikuchi or anything. He was just meh in the beginning. And Kou was a bad lead when Narumi came up. So at this point I can just let the mangaka play with my emotions lol.

AHR getting a live-action movie was a surprise. Masahiro Higashide playing Kou was double the surprise. Poor heart. Anyway! I'm not sure what to think about it yet. I agree with a friend who said that the ending would definitely be different from the manga. I just wonder how different it would be.

About the latest chapter... I find it funny that I disliked how Futaba spent time with Kou, haha. Such a Kikuchi fan, I am. But it's great to see Kou trying to move forward by checking old times. He was driven strongly by Futaba, which makes it sweet. And Kou is making his moves to the "representative" too, lol. I really don't want Kikuchi to find them together, though. That will break his heart so badly, huhu.

I'm looking forward to watch this movie, but i think Masahiro looks too old to play Kou's role lol I was talking about it with a br friend here on MH and i think some different actors would look way better in that role like Okada Masaki (from Mirai Nikki, Hana Kimi...) and Hongo Kanata (from Tennis no Oujisama movie). I wonder how different the ending will be too.

About the lastest chapter, i loved it! Go for it, Kou! (loool) I reeeeeeally hope that Kikuchi will discover that they went somewhere together, he is a cool guy but his relationship with Futaba is so annoying, i can't stand him -.-'

I can see where you're coming from. I absolutely love Masahiro to death when he played as Doumeki in xxxHolic, but I agree that he looks tad to old to be Kou. A friend said that the hair and the smirk could resemble Kou pretty well, though, haha. We'll see. On the other hand I think I've read comments that the female actress is not too good. Never seen her before, though.

LOL. One thing I like about Kou is how he's actually trying to correct things up and open himself more. He often looks like a lost puppy and with his background you just want to hug him. XD Too bad the relationship with Kikuchi can't last forever, huhu. I wonder where Narumi is, these days.
