Discussion Who will get Ace's Mera Mera no Mi (Fire) Devil Fruit?

1-sanji is in another level then rebecca and he could not do anything to him.
2-smoker is way high level then rebecca and he was defeated.
3-law is above the level of 1 and 2 and he could not beat him.

soo is she think that if she eat the mera she will be a yonko level cause DD could go head to head with a admiral.

I'm normally not one to pick on others grammatical flaws, but dude, your grammar is awful.

As for the Mera Mera, I really haven't too much of a clue. Sanji would be my personal favorite, but so far there is barely more than theories supporting this. Stuff like "He has a lot to do with fire". The most logical reason I can come up with is, that out of the Monster Trio he so far seems to have gotten the shortest straw in terms of power, so the Mera Mera might even this out a little bit. Though his seemingly bad jump in power when compared to the others might also stem from the fact that so far he only got to fight relatively strong enemies Luffy and Zoro would've done little better against, but that can't be said for certain.

Burgess certainly would raise an interesting point, story-wise, since that would pretty much mean Blackbeard and the whole point so far has been for Luffy not to accept the possibility of BB getting Aces Devil Fruit. Still, Burgess is strong and might have an actual chance to win, so it is possible and certainly would give Luffy another point to fight Teach in the future.

Apart from those two, I can't really think of reasons for other characters honestly, but so far, Oda has managed to stick to a consistent story where everything (or at least almost everything) happened for a reason, so whoever gets the Mera Mera, it'll be for more than just reasons of style. It will advance the story big time, of that much I'm sure.

But...rebecca doesnt know who smoker, sanji or law is. And she has no idea about dd strenght and about how big the world really is. She was living her entire life in dr with soldier. She doesnt know anything. Shes a noob.

What Sameel said, basically. Rebecca has no idea that any of that happened or who those people are. She's been on the run and then in prison. She's not dumb, she's just desperate. She sees an opportunity in the mera mera and she's right to. Her chances are still non-existent unless she spends a long time mastering the fruit, but she's still better off having it than not having it if she's planning to challenge Doflamingo before he can kill Soldier-san.

Also remember: characters in-universe don't think about things like 'Yonkou-level' (except maybe Barto because he's a parody of the fans).

It's better for Luffy to have another motivation by Jesus taking the fruit, in which Luffy eventually gets the fruit back and keeps it for the next generation. It can be his "Roger's hat," entrusting the will of Ace to someone who will take the world by the storm.

Zoro - the title strongest swordsmen wouldn't be fitting if he did
Saji - All blue, cant swim if he did
Franky - said no
Usopp - Well he can, but his purpose is to remain weak and yet be able to fight, a powerup that sort wouldn't be fitting
Nami - apart from comical effect where she burns Luffy Sanji when angry, I cant see any other reason

Rest all have DF abilities already

Rebecca getting the DF would mean Luffy hands it over to her, she wouldn't win.

Only Sabo can get the DF. He will take on Ace's legacy. Imagine Sabo and his pipe blowing fire like a dragon, but more than anything, he being closer to Ace than Luffy.

I like the theory that BB's crew will run away with it. That will give a stronger for Luffy, but this being their entry to the new world action, the other way round would also be interesting, where Luffy is chased down for running away with the DF.

Sabo doesn't need to eat the fruit to take on Ace's legacy; legacy isn't defined by a single object. If Sabo lives the way Ace lived and wanted to live, that's a way of carrying on his legacy, especially the D. part. Mera mera no mi is not needed for legacies, it would serve as a great symbol however, if Luffy was able to get it back and keep it for the next generation.

Games are non-canon, in other words Irrelevant. And it's probably because he's using "Red Hawk".

Though your opinion that Luffy will eat the fruit is 100% valid.

Haven't seen this yet, but I believe Kyros will get the Mera Mera no Mi.

If in fact he lost his real leg(whichever one it was) there is a possibility that he could use it the same way Kuzan uses his logia.

It looks like the story is building similarities between Rebecca and Ace (for example, being hated for their bloodlines, dead mother, etc.), and it's set up for her to do something to make Sabo acknowledge her and allow her to have the fruit. Not saying I want it to happen, I don't really care. But it seems to me that's the way the story's going.

I think that Rebecca will somehow get the fruit but will give it to her father she just recovered the memory from.
Then Kyros will stand on a fire leg and may join the SH !
