When was AKB49, Denpasar and Vinland Saga released? Particularly Vinland, cause a series that good deserves >100k sales

14th volume of Vinland Saga was released on 21st February. You don't really have to be afraid since sales of Vinland Saga volumes reach about 120k in the first two weeks and about 200k in the long run.

• Nisekoi #9: Dropped out of the top 50 after charting for three chart periods, selling 162,544 copies.
• Nisekoi #10: Dropped out of the top 50 after charting for three chart periods, selling 214,988 copies.
• Nisekoi #11: Sells 198,152 in it's first week.

Between volume nine and ten, sales after three chart periods increased by 52,444 copies, an increase of 32%. After only one chart period, volume eleven has sold 92% of the copies volume ten sold after three chart periods. Volume eleven is the first volume released since the anime started. Volume ten came out a week before episode one first aired. That is a considerable amount of growth since November, and volume eleven just came out. It will be interesting to see how many copies sold, and how much Nisekoi ultimately sells. The difference in sales between volume eleven and volume ten should be greater than the difference between volume nine and ten.

I think it's still too early for that, wait a couple of years for it (well, Akamatsu might as well end it before)
Anyway, I just hope they don't ruin it like they did with Negima's TV animes

Anyway, glad Kamisama doing well. it's obviously one of the best weekly manga right now.
and feel sad Kindaichi sale not as good as before, I think it has potential becoming interesting like it did in it's peak, after quality dropped since 2004.

Does it really need to match the oricon to be believable, whose to say which is most accurate when we dont know how either tracks and makes total estimations, its the reaon why multiple industries have multiple sales tracking firms. 500 is best for seeing a view outside of 50, IMO, ie seeing how much lesser known series are selling on a general level and old volumes.

Kinda make me think of Oh Great. He's had 2 animated works and neither were really good or animated the whole series.

As much as I hate anime butchering manga, isn't that the fault of the mangaka? All they have to do is insist that the studio respect the material or they can't animate it. Don't just give it to the first studio that asks. Didn't Mashima do the same with FT? Rave was cut short so he was bitter. That's why FT took so long to get one. And that despite its flaws, it remains true to the source material.

I think the publisher has the right to choose which studio to do animation, not mangaka.
