His final move is exactly the one he gave to Pitou but since he won't use it soon in the anime I think he won't have it. At least Killua has Kanmuru but in the video he was using it at the same time as Narukami, weird...

I'll be the first to say I don't take much of what WMR says seriously since I mostly listen for the same reason I listen to the NC in that I find Rollo T hilarious (Nick not so much unless he's ranting *Usagi Drop was hilarious*) That said, while I don't exactly agree with Nick, I do respect his opinion, because honestly with the way the HxH fanbase was, I was getting scared that absolutely NO ONE disliked this series (well except maybe the Jean at shonenbeam, but I think he just dislikes the chimera ant arc). I'm glad the guest was there as well, but they did highlight some fair issues that some people may have with the series like how much monolouging there is and so forth, I definitely don't think that type of story telling is for everyone. I never really had an issue with how the arcs ended (and actually liked them more for it) with the exception of maybe the election arc and I've recently begun to realize as much as I like and hold up HxH, it's still on a thread. Togashi does whatever he wants and does not care what the fans want so anything can happen. Thankfully this series is appears to be something he enjoys writhing more than YYH and I definitely disagree with the argument that Togashi comes up with this stuff at the draw of a hat.

In a nutshell: It hurts but it hurts so good~ *and it's much more entertaining than I ever found Toriko imho*

Oh yeah, I'm in college now and got two people into hunter x hunter, and am working on a third!

We are slowly approaching the second year of hiatus (Kurapika oneshot doesn't count) and Togashi is still no where to be seen.
I remembered he said he didn't want the anime to catch up with the manga.
I have gotten one of my classmates hook onto HxH and now I feel so bad because it happened 6 months ago...

Who would you believe? The person who knows her the most of people who don't even consider her as an human? If Killua, who knows everything about Alluka say she is a girl then she is a girl. The others don't care anyway, maybe they use male pronouns by default.

Where? I think Alluka is female but even if he was male it's hard to believe that his gender would change like that.

Pretty sure that the woman who gave birth to Alluka would know her child's gender.
They call him male so Alluka is biologically male.

They don't see alluka as a person so it makes sense aluka would not be granted a proper gender. The author has generally been intentionally deceptive in this area...

im going to buy all of the manga volumes on amazon. im not a big fan of the Edited Mangas with all of the scribbles, but i hear the art is much better in the volumes and this is a good way to start my manga collection that i have been planning of my favorite titles

Togashi really likes playing with gender. Honestly, regarding Alluka/Nanika, what if he's biologically a male but identifies as a female-thus he's technically a brother, but Killua refers to 'him' as his sister? Or what if he's just meant to be ambiguous. Gender in HxH and even in YYH wasn't always clear cut, obviously male or obviously female. It's something not typically associated with a shounen series (more likely josei or shoujo is some regards).

Pitou was also a weird case.

Those are some awesome DVD covers, by the way.

And... 2nd anniversary of the manga hiatus and no return in sight? I'm a sad panda now.
