Can't wait for the Mangas return!

I've only been a fan for a month and I'm ridiculously excited, can't imagine how HxH veteran fans feel like!

We were dying for 2 years..

why is it that only the good mangas go on hiatus for so long :/

I hope we get spammed with hxh action in the upcoming chapters. Most of all, I want a time-skip, and I think its necessary. By the way, I just don't see Gon working with Ging, since Ging probably knows how dangerous the dark continent is. Plus, Gon isn't strong enough until he learns how to tap into his hidden power. So far, even Killua is miles stronger than Gon in terms of nen (lightening attacks, and using lightening to heighten his speed and reflexes) and base abilities. The janken has way too many flaws, such as: the amount of time it takes to charge it up, it's relatively weak unless he is really pissed off, and has very limited use.

At this point, I think Togashi is allowed to do anything he pleases with HunterxHunter. I'd be so pissed if he put out a few chapters through the end of summer and then went on hiatus for 3 years. Biggest. Troll. Ever.

i dont think hxh has very long left

i could see him doing something with the spiders, letting kurapika get his revenge, but also providing a reason for gon to be more of a part of it this time (like the spiders doing something fucked up to someone gon cares about)

i would also like to see some adventure, like discovering new things (like species or hidden ruins or something) not saying that fighting isnt good, we defenitely need at least some fighting in any arc, but i would like the goal or theme of an arc to be discovery or you know HUNTING something

Well I heard he has enough ideas for 2 - 3 more arcs.
And I find this manga can go on forever, I think I would enjoy every advanture of Gon in this world as long as Togashi doesnt make any Hiatuses during an arc like he did in the Chimera Ant Arc.
As it is right now its just like waiting for ur favourit writer to finish his new book more so because every arc in Hunter x Hunter has its own feeling.
And that is what I love about it and why I think it can go on forever.

There are still quite a few plots I'd like to see resolved before the series ends. There's just way too much going on between the spiders, Kurapika's revenge, Killua's family situation is still shaky, Gyro, Kuroro, and Leorio still needs to graduate from med school. I see the current point in the series as the halfway point. I could easily see 2-3 arcs, including the dark continent. I don't think the dark continent will be as long as the chimera ant arc (or any more arc that Togashi makes for that matter), but I could see it it being about the length or Yorknew. And I would love to see at least an arc centered around Leorio more.

Miles stronger? not really..
Killua is all about speed, he never would hurt someone like youpi.. While Gon full Jajanken just can blow his head for sure
So killua have an advantage in terms of nen abilities, but he is not stronger by any means..

well I just have a feeling he's just going to finish this arc, and go about tying lose ends here and there. I mean, I think we deserve it. I just feel he has no energy left for a longer run, you know? let us, the readers, have our agony end, as it were.

It's just not like Berserk where the hiatus is okay because the story's got a loooooong way to go. But with HxH, I feel as though we've hit the climax somewhere you know? Our little voyager set out to find his dad, and now he's done that, met friends along the way, got stronger to boot, what is left? Doujin, I guess.

I highly doubt Togashi would end the kid's character development so soon after getting away with doing something incredibly reckless and shortsighted. He needs to put Gon in a situation where there are consciousnesses for his actions.

Gon also needs a new goal in life now that he's found his father. What is he going to do with his life in the long run?

I highly doubt Togashi would end the kid's character development so soon after getting away with doing something incredibly reckless and shortsighted. He needs to put Gon in a situation where there are consciousnesses for his actions.

I believe he will hunt chimera ants to make sure the horror that happened to Kaito will never happen to anyone ever again. OR he might just decide to take on Ging's idea of exploring the dark continent (most likely).

I really want to see how Togashi will unite Killau and Gon back together again.

Also, I'm curious to see how he will incorporate (Phantom Troupe + Kurapika), (Hisoka and Illumi), Leorio, Zodiacs, (Gon + Ging), (good chimera ants + Chimera Kaito), (Beyond Netero and his team), (Killua + Alluka) + New Dark Continent topics ; since it's becoming a big mess that needs some serious consolidation.

Well, I hope not since he is one of my favorite characters. Plus, he is connected to Illumi who has a relationship with Hisoka who wants Gon. Therefore, I highly doubt it will happen.

I hope it doesn't happen either, but you never know... Hunter Hunter has gone against a lot of the Shounen Cliche's... the best friends retuning might not happen.

Still, you're probably right. It's likely that he still has some role to play. Though, it probably won't happen for 2 or 3 arcs. The rest of the Zoldyck family will likely get more pro-active, eventually... after all one of their main goals is Killua and bringing him over to their side. Alluki adds a whole new level of complexity to it now, perhaps Illum, Silvai gets his hands on Alluki and uses him/her against Killua or smth.
